I see you gave a 9 to Ghost in the Shell Innocence.

In the movie, the hacker Kim quotes that people die out of accident or habit, because it's inevitable. But people know that death is a given and that's the reason why Kim choose to become fully cyborg, says Batou.

Do you think it's implied that Kim wanted to choose his own death, without being rushed by a disease or old age, suicide as a luxury? Or he just wanted immortality of sorts and I'm reading too much into it?

I had a pretty good run with him as well, but he made his choices. Nothing left to do but fondly regard the good times I guess. Besides, I guess real life is a good enough excuse.
