| lol what so an open ending? but yeah, really entertaining watch. i liked the survival/zombie aspect. plus the main guy was pretty decent especially because he's voiced by junichi suwabae. this is the type of show where it's very addicting (i watched this with my parents walking around! risks...) but badly written. |

| This was an amazing show! It was way more entertaining than I thought it would be. And here we are, waiting for 5 years for a 2nd season and still not announced yet =_= The characters were great, the OST was amazing and the art was also perfect. The only thing I didn't like is that the could've been more frank about what happened that night between Saeko and Takashi -_- Sugram22 said: Yup. Is not that this anime is not serious enough. | They managed to all survive. Sadly sayas parents probably died... Man did SHIDO die???? I hope so.. He deserves it. Sayas is pretty hot :3 Well I enjoyed this anime, wish there was a second season. They still need to meet up with sensei's friend and meet their parents... Oh well. |

| Finally finished it. Tbh i'm not gonna lie it's was kinda disappointing. Especially all they did is defend the mansion from oncoming zombie apocalypse. I'm fucking glad that stupid teacher crash. Wish he was eaten among the zombies. Also those stupid protester against violence got what they deserve. The real highlight of this show was Saya's parents!!! Man her mom is badass and his dad is amazing swordsman. How the hell did they flip over the truck without the weight crushing down while moving at highspeed? even manage to save Saeko on time :O That quote at the end though. "This is how the world ends Not with a bang, but a whimper" Feels like it's mocking its audience or so XD Shame it's 2015 and still no hint of S2 or even progress with the manga. I'll be buying the Omnibus since it's full color and US has finally catched up to the JPN releases. I give this 9/10, even though the ending was whimper, the journey was amazing! Triage X is over, but i want both S2 for Triage X and Highschool of the Dead!!! |

| Well I enjoyed this show more than I hated it. I'll give it a 6/10. They could have cut all the politics out. It's just stupid crap I don't care about. |
| Okay...so...why was the nuke detonated in the air? What was killing all the electronics in the region supposed to do against the zombie? When the zombies broke through the gates, why were they just standing there while the gate was being broken down? They had access to dynamite, why didn't they use that earlier? Why were candles placed on the grass, causing the place to catch on fire? Why did the mechanic guy stay behind? Rather, why did everyone who wasn't a main character stay behind? I think I missed a few things while watching. At least, I hope I missed them. I'm surprised, HOTD bothered me a lot more than I thought it would. The sheer devil-may-care attitude of the cast, the cartoonish villainy, the random characters whom are just allergic to living, and gravity having far too much fun with the women of this show - HOTD is everything I expected, for better or worse. |
| It's sad when the only character that I liked was the mechanic... But why did he stay? If I had to describe this anime, the only word that i can come up with is: ILLOGICAL. So much stupid stuff happens that it's hard not to notice or even forget: -How the hell did 'king-kong tits' teacher, who can't even properly drive a car, managed to do that 2-wheel stunt? -Why Rei gets to have that massive rifle although she can't even walk or shoot decently? What? Am I supposed to close my eyes to all of the unreal sh*t that happens in this?! 5/10 But it could have been worse if I didn't take in consideration the first episodes (which were decent)... |

| Everyone needs to read the HOTD manga instead. A more serious tone. The action scenes are more realistic and less over-the-top. Less fanservice. |
| Not a bad adaption I suppose, some places it felt like a bit over the top with service though. Like they just needed to shake their boobs or give some pantsu each time the camera switched to the girls. Kinda excessive imo, but fanservice is fanservice... Kinda hope to see the manga recontinue but S2 of the anime would be nice too. That was some mechanic, got some spirit. Kinda curious who is his "true love" that he chose to stay behind for, don't remember from manga if they said whom. Really liked Takagi's Mom/Dad. They know how to kickass while being stern parents lol. Also, kinda hope Rei & Takashi don't become a thing if relationships ever ensued tbh, I liked the time between Takashi and Saeko more. They seemed more compatible. |

| Well this is bullshit of an ending.. like wtf.. expected more as well from the OVA but also not, was as i thought 40% a Big a Fan service. like if the anime enough itself is a big fanservice... xD well sucky ending will give it a quick review.. Animation, just outstanding, let like im watching part manga ish. really amazing art, and strong colors. and the sound.. well like that they had the mix or little bit of everything. from the dramatic piano, too the hardcore dubrock during the fighting scenes. Character could sure some more development, i mean come on, where's the season 2!! just disappointing.. Either way i really did really enjoy watching it. funny, dramatic and little bit thrilling at its moments. failure of sex scenes tho uhuhuhu xD Overall with the OVA i give a 7.3/10 (7/10) mostly cause of the ending ,and it felt they where moving to fast , and it got ruined.. but it had its good and really horrible part. i would like a season 2... |

| That last episode was awesome. Overall entertaining show. I didn't mind the ecchi since the show doesn't pretend to be an intellectual masterpice but one thing I regret is the lack of violence/zombie destruction. I really wish they'd have gone as overboard with that as they did with the sexy stuff. Besides a flew pot holes and bad animation sometimes I think it was a really fun show. |

| Finally i can finish this xD I put it on my On-Hold List for a year lol It was a good show.. I like how Komuro and his friends build up strategies to survive.. I know it's a bit unlikely, but i hope it gets a 2nd season in the future :) 7/10 |

| colour me surprised, this show took me completely by surprise. perhaps the survival genre is to my liking - I had a similar viewing experience with AoT. The audiovisual expertise was completely unexpected to me. There is so much to appreciate in this show. Obviously there is the caveat that the fanservice/soft porn is so blatant and will distract some people, so it's not an easy to show to recommend blindly to anyone. 9/10 |

Haha. Saya's parents just went Mr. and Mrs. Smith there, maaan, I wonder if they survived. Tch. That'll be a waste of amazing character if they died. -_- That zombie should've eaten Rei, maaan, that'll be a great way to end this season. Hahahaha. I'm so vile, but she's so fucking annoying. Kyaaaaa! Saeko on the top of the car is so fucking dope. Gaaaah! Badass Saeko is badass. I thought they could've done better to end this show since I know that we'll never get a 2nd season since the author died. Fucksake. RIP TO THE AUTHOR! Thanks for blessing us with Saeko and Hirano. <3 8/10 is for Saeko alone. Pfffft. Jk. |

I have been watching anime for five years now and watched like 200 different anime. Hey I always am drawn to this show. Not for the ecchi or harem, but rather the premise and the art style. If I only i had the power or the money to get this show going again. Damn. It only needed one more volume in order to be completed. Hey no one has wanted to take up the weight of it after the creators death. They feel as if it would air with no end. Hey I feel like they at least owe it to the creator and it's fans to give us an ending. I dont really care if it's had. I just want something to fill this emptiness it left. |
| @Sasora Just watched it for the first time. Always, put it aside because of the fanservice, but watching it now as a parody, it was actually good fun. So much better than identical season 487 of "The Walking Dead". Didn't like the terriby incovenient EMP and phonecall plotline though. Thought it was completely unecessary. What really kept me watching the last episodes were the Takashi x Saeko and Hirano x Alice chemistries. 8/10 @FarCrawDad4 That's sad. I guess it puts this anime on par with Haruhi, in terms of a sequel that's never going to be. IchiroEX said: Everyone's Combat choreography was absolutely flawless.
