| Sweet memory they share, man Hiro and Hikari would have made a great couple if not for the fact that Hiro coupled Hikari and Hideo together |

| So Hikari's dad is alive. He just wasn't around till now. He only showed up when the plot needed him. How convenient. Beautiful episode. The way it depicted Hiro recovering his forgotten memory was on point. The production value was very high for this episode. This only makes me more depressed that the next episode is the last one. I can't fathom why such a great series was canceled other than it catching up to the manga. Even then, why didn't they continue it with a Season 2 later? Surely that would've made the most sense. It's also a bit strange that Adachi's later works such as Rough and Katsu! didn't get any anime adaptions at all. Instead, it skipped right to Cross Game which is another masterpiece. |
