I watched some episodes more... and I tend to agree with you... Can't write more as don't want to spoil for you. :p
Actually, I grade series from the same point of view as you, and quite often MAL stats shows me that we have the same grade about some show, while others have much lower score. I've been even critisized for putting too high scores... :/
Though I consider that everything that makes me feel good is at least worth seven.

Lol, I just discovered that you're also watching Zillion through the stats function here on MAL. Hmm, you already graded it... I'm also on ep 22 but still unsecure if the series will be 6 or 7.
