| I'm actually kind of glad Zagan didn't kill Barbatos. He definitely would've deserved it, but he did always hang out with him, so at least there's a "friendly" connection between them. Nephy is just the cutest little thing!!! Imagine if someone from our day and age wholesomely proposed with a slavery collar... Oh the drama that would unfold... If I were Zagan, I'd confer with the other Archdemons about what just happened, because that seemed rather important. |

| What's with people hating the slave-collar thing. Nephi doesn't look at it as torture/submission tool, and that's all that matters. (not that it matters, but same thing has been done in other anime too. Like Raphtalia willingly becoming SH's slave after she was freed forcibly). In both cases the choice was made in a good heart, not because the characters are weak-willed or wish to be dominated or some masochistic BS. Anyways, I applaud Zagan for sparing Barbatos. It's admirable when an OP character doesn't kill a harmless (to them) opponent simply because they can. It's always much harder to spare your enemy, therefor I commend him for not choosing the easiest path. Sucks to be that demon though, lol. Getting summoned and then told to gtfo immediately :( |

| i liked this episode and the previous one way too much compared to how little pretention this anime has š³ it's funny, the buildup is so strange and random, high stakes moment when i don't expect them, out of nowhere, then it's cute again the minute after, this is unusual and manage to surprise me also, digging that title drop, just like in the spice and wolf episode |

Chastille's knightly appearance as she denounced one the higher-up's sickening and unreasonable demand of her, she was so stunning.
The main two lovers, or whatever Zagan will name their relationship, I can't wait what will he come up with.
Lastly, they did a better job, but not quite, at portraying how the summoned entity—of how creepy it really is.
making a slave collar to be their engagement ring was rather sweet in that bit.

| @CrazyButNot4U Yes, especially to the last part. Normally that'd be anywhere from a hell no to a loud groan for me. But it works here because Nephy is the one who wanted it back on, and she wanted it back on because she views it as a connection to him. Zagan is not socially ept enough to have believably countered that. Had he tried to, it woulda been a mess or not been in character. So him stating it's their engagement ring or w/e allowed him to convey his feelings and to honor what Nephy wanted--which is really important because this is the only time we've ever seen Nephy ask anyone for anything that she intended for herself. It's still a broken thing, sure. But it's a step in the right direction. |

| Zagan outmaneuvered Barbatos so well he even finished his demon summoning for him. Glad all that ends well and Zagan gets to have more peaceful times with his elf wife. |
