Elfen Lied's powerful Latin chorus gives me chills every time I hear it and the use of the paintings is juat brilliant. | Having a woman sing in Latin with some depressing tone compounded with what the anime had shown from the start in a dark atmosphere makes the opening creepy. Oh, and that eye creeps me out, too when I watched it when I was like 13-14. |
In particular, the first 10 seconds. It's awesome, but it's just so unsettling. |

Every character has two facial expressions, green eyes and is almost of the same height...now that is truly disturbing (if you're an artist). And now I wouldn't call bad animation disturbing. It's just, well, bad animation. |
| Paranoia Agent is quite creepy. But I LOVE it :P also some sayonara zetsubou sensei openings creeped me out. Not showing the faces and so on. But I like "creepy" openings, because they can at least pick my interest ^^. |

| I always skip Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei's if I had the chance. Random bondage (or whatever it is...) seems a tad odd especially when I'm watching in the same room with parents somewhere at the back. |

| I find the Petshop of Horrors to be disturbing. they have a bad collage of the gay boy band singing, and all of them are kinda stretched out. Higurashi is kind of creepy as well, but not very disturbing. |
| Hm, Monster sure does have kind of creepy ED and OP. I think the second OP of Death Note was somewhat unbearable to watch, really tense. Oh, and Honey&Clover had somewhat original OPs, weird =) |
