| Another great episode. We learn more about the different criminals and executioners. It seems that everyone is built differently apparently. Some criminals don't like to follow the rules and just do their own thing. Even to the point of killing each other. Gabimaru and Sagiri Asaemon following the latter. Gabimaru initiates for the kill on her. As their swords clash, they both were hesitant to deal the finishing blow on each other as they reminiscent about the past. It's a good thing that Gabimaru's wife has a strong influence on him because he is able to express his emotions of showing weakness. Having to stop himself from killing Sagiri Asaemon. Sagiri realizes that Gabimaru is only human showing emotions and that impacted her. Their relationship is slowly growing. Their social link has level up. |

| No way the hoe criminal is already dead. She had such a nice design... Same with the Renji-looking dude. Man, what a waste. 3/5 episode. Sagiri being so illogical and naive kinda got on my nerves and Gabimaru hesitating to kill her after having brutally murdered around 20 people last episode felt particularly forced. I know the episode tackled that issue but the guy is so brutal with his opponents I find it hard to believe he actually feels bad while doing it. I mean, only 3-5 guys attacked Gabimaru last episode yet he ended up slaughtering all of the remaining criminals and now he just massacred the monk criminal in the most excessive way possible. So yeah, hard to take his supposed regret seriously. |

| Holy shit. The sequence where they showed which prisoners vs supervisors survived made my jaw drop. An amazing way to subvert expectations. I fully expected every character on the island to have a bit of screen time since they were all given titles and meant to be imposing. But that sequence did an incredible job of showing how this environment is brutal and it isn't afraid to kill off characters unceremoniously. |

Yes, but what's the point of arguing when he's apparently indestructible? Whatever, at least the ending with the monsters looked sort of cool... |

| So far this show is a 7/10. It's not bad by any means but nothing amazing either. I personally would have liked more island exploration before they started fighting and killing each other. The next episode looks more promising though. Finally some weird island creatures. That's what I want more of from this show. |

| Man I would had not believed it if someone had told me the author is same as CSM. He is able to produce such high quality series, no wonder MAPPA are the one adapting it. In this episode, I finally get to see what I wanted, those creepy creatures. I've been dying for it. It was really hilarious to see those big creatures with one having hands in place of eyes in kabedon style and other was a fish head with with 3 pairs of praying hands. The fish one was just missing those bongo and he'll look similar to drum demon Demon Slayer. |

| Wasn't expecting so much of the introduced cast to get packed up like that on the episode right after their introduction! What a dangerous island. Gabimaru vs Sagiri was really cool though. |

| This feels like we just had a major emotional payoff for the two main characters but we literally just met them so I don't care lmao. Think we are jumping the gun a bit here show with making our two mains ideals clash like this but whatever. A bunch of ppl died which I guess is the norm for the edgy shounen that tries to subvert your expectations early on. |
| another badass brutal episode! damn that seductress just got beheaded like that!? and omg! the 10 criminals went further down and decreased in half! lolz both Sagiri and Gabimaru are hesitating on giving the final blow to each other! 5/5. |
