| I wonder about the plan to end this season, to have time for a long breakfast. My hearts already pains just thinking about the faeries that die, now appear elementary age girls. One more group, for me to worry about their well being. |

| I thought the episode and series is sort of depressing. |
| That breakfast looked delicious and they all took part in a training mission this time. Cant believe we have another delay for the next episode this is frustrating |

| Asashimo and Kiyoshimo are so fking adorable. |
| Torpedo squadron 2's December formation was pretty interesting. Its nice to finally see Yahagi animated. Pretty nice breakfast. Its fun watching the Akizuki sisters in the form of Suzutsuki and Fuyutsuki serve as the cooks too. Not to mention Isokaze and Hamakaze as well. The talk between them while grim reflected well on the kind of certainty that exists on the frontlines. The briefing though really put into perspective the kind of losses that they took during the op. Given that this new squadron is formed from ships across the district it makes sense that they'll need training. Nice intro of the escorts as well. Wonder will Mogami get her k2 going by what was said. The exercise sure was a lot of fun though as we got to see how the squadrons operated on a local level. The GureYuki teamup really came into play here. Overall a solid ep that featured a good balance of character intro's, lore expansion and action via the exercise. Animation here is still pretty high tier. |

| This slow pacing isn't a good idea when the season have only 8 episodes. |
| A simple looking breakfast does look rather appealing, huh? =) It's nice to see Shigure fitting into her new squadron and being able to talk to her teammates about what she went through in the previous major battle has helped her to move on and focus on the main goal ahead. In this case, it was an enjoyable training battle which either brought out the smartness of some girls, or in Kiyoshimo's case, get humiliated too easily, the poor girl. XD All in all, this was a nice episode, although it's rather sad to see the series getting hit with another delay once more. Hopefully it won't be a long wait before the final three episodes come out in the future. |
| What is so great about this Kancolle is that it's take the right amount of time to set up an atmosphere. The breakfast scene was surprisingly long, but there was an idea behind it. Shigure's fighting spirit is pretty damaged, but she is still there. It was entertaining training afterwards. I still hope the (not USA) Abyssals will be defeated in the end. 3 more episodes would be nice to have an animated conclusion and maybe another season. |

In defense of this slow episode after the last one, I think they were necessary in their own way. Episode 4 was needed to expand the world beyond the battles that the shipgirls fight, meanwhile Episode 5 was needed to prepare the final roster for likely a gauntlet of battles. Some points I got from this episode:
I still don't know where they're going with this and the further delay is just frustrating, but since they surprised us with the appearance of an admiral as a character, then maybe there's hope for any of the foreign shipgirls to make an appearance as well, at least in the epilogue. |

| Really liked this training episode, especially seeing them all fight in a non stressful environment. Even though they were taking it seriously, it seemed quite fun. |

| Suzu and Ofuyu are both hot! I like them. They weren't around the last time I played Kancolle. Jintsuu is retired already? That's too bad. I thought they would show her Kai version. She looks really sexy once upgraded. I love her exposed shoulders and armpits. They're so lickable! |
