Good episode, the visuals were good and I looked forward to seeing Hibiki but unfortunately she wasn't present, I hope to see her in the next episode. Also these episode schedules are ridiculous, they should've fixed the issues in the long years of production...

Great episode. Sadly, only two more to go.

These little pilots/engineers are always so adorable. ^_^

Yukikaze being hilarious as usual. Poor girl had a nasty stomach ache after eating too many mikan oranges, lol.

Yahagi was obviously pretty mad at her. xD

The scene to put the equipment have lots less flair than the 1st season.

Im still bothered by how apart the episodes are, but see the fairies, and that sentai entrance that the coastal guard did was cool.

Yukikaze was pretty amusing in this episode, even though her huge consumption of mikan oranges came back to haunt her, which forced her to pull out of the escort mission.

Despite that setback, Isokaze, Hamakze and Shigure worked hard to protect Ryuuhou in their naval battles, with the depth charges being a massive help to take down the enemy. The arrival of the coastal (loli) guards and the huge explosion they all set off with their depth charges was very satisfying indeed. =)

Now begins the wait for the next episode, whenever that will be (unless it's been confirmed already)... =(

This episode reminded me as to why Isokaze is my favorite among 17th DesDiv. Seeing her constantly loses her patience when it comes to Yukikaze is just the best fanservice I could hope for.

In terms of story progression, still there isn't really much to speak of. Pacing-wise, it felt like the episode was running like it's at 6/12 instead of 6/8. The gundam-like suit up and launching sequence was cool and all, but kinda lacked impact and felt like it should have been done much earlier for the previous battle.

Since they dragged Uchida Shuu into this for a short scene with Mikura, they better show Gambier Bay or even Warspite at the finale...

6th destroyer div is loli fleet? Let me introduce you to the real loli fleet!
Overall I'm happy that they take their time releasing episodes, at least they are reasonably drawn unlike ep 3. Plot is irrelevant, I want more ship girls.

Hmm nice to finally see Ise and Hyuga animated. The op Kita fleet huh. Well its important that the admiral always has a secretary after all. The bit about Kongo was interesting though because historically she was sunk by that sub. Guess in this world Urukaze took the shot and retired instead. Yukikaze's cheerfulness is damm infectionous. Nice to see Ryuuhou again. Its amzing in that stomach problems count as engine trouble in this world. The dock scenes were pretty cool though. They really took their time with that scene. Isokaze's reaction at her anger not being able to faze Yuki was priceless. The size of the wolfpack that they faced though sure was pretty large. The way that the weather cleared as the escorts arrived sure was good. Kind of like being saved from destruction by the intenvention of the gods. Overall a fun ep that featured some nice moments between Shigure and her friends as well as old comrades showing up again to assist. From the looks of things a large battle is being teased for the next two eps.

Only two eps left, hmm. Anyway.

Yukikaze is so cute. Though perhaps it might not have been very surprising that she wasnt able to take part this time.

Bit of a strange feeling really.

Damn its been a while huh. Those loli division costal defense girls were literally shined upon lol. Yahagi getting mad at Yukikaze was the highlight of the episode for me.

Looks like another long wait for the next episode huh... Well its whatever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The strong point that show is still the gloomy atmosphere, even though the girls most likely won't die,
they at least lose the ability to mount military equipment.

The whole fleet became very small already, I hope they will be ok.

I laughed when Shigure just took the stupid ammo out of the box and throw it at the enemy.
I mean it had the right size for girl hands, so using it manually makes sense.

It's sweet how everyone in the fleet always cares about Shigure's mental well being and calls her name more often than the others,
it's like they always expect a mental breakdown in the next minute. But she actually saves everyones ass although she is not a very cheerful girl.

Coast Guard wrecked the remaining submarines with more or less awesome visuals.

I love how they animate those little maintenance and repair fairies, they are so hard workers.
Also lovely how they use the small scale planes.

Episode was pretty good, fairies great as ever, tho the whole yukikaze situation felt very rushed and weird.

The kindergarten squad to the rescue with angelic lights was honestly bizarre and I'm still not sure if its self consciously satirical or fanservice

Kongou, lives!!! But this just confirms she won't appear, sad. At least Haruna should appear, if they are kinda going for historical accuracy.

Aw, Urakaze got retired. I wanted to see Urakaze in the show. She's one of my favorite shipgirls since she's a walking fetish. Her outfit, color scheme, and armpit are an instant boner for me!

Ryuuhou is so cute! I want to escort and protect her!
Does Shigure ever use those big cannons on her back? I've never seen her use it, even during the big battle in the previous episodes.

Japanese voice actresses are so talent at playing different voices for different roles. can't believe yukikaze and fugou are the same actress and hatsune miku too.

Not even a minute into the episode and I'm sitting here wondering why Hyuuga called it "Singapore" and Ise called it "Syonan" instead, even though both names refer to the same place...

Edit: Yeah okay thanks Ooyodo, maybe work that dialogue in before I started going into a Wikipedia rabbit hole of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_occupation_of_Singapore and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_of_Singapore and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Early_history_of_Singapore and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1819_Singapore_Treaty LOL
