| Just finished watching this today. Its mostly a recap upto episode 10 of the series. The part where the mother keeps behind letters to be sent to her daughter every year still tears me up. Its been so long since I watched the main series that I cant remember whether there were any new scenes added in this or not. Overall, a pretty good watch and reminded me how beautiful this show used to look. |
| This may be a recap but i still watched it. This is the only series that made me cry in every episode until the very end of the movie. |

| So only the most emotional episodes were included. It more or less gives a glimpse of what Violet Evergarden actually is and even being a shortened recap it's quite effective in some way. I only hoped they didn't ruin the episode 10. And I'm happy that I felt the same way how I did watching that episode the series. |

| I'm reminded of how beautiful Luculia is. For me, she's on par with Violet in terms of beauty. If I were her brother, I'd go for the wincest route! Man, that scene where the mom writes to her daughter for the next 50 years made me tear up again. However, my emotions came from my inability to accept the death of a loved one and how time passes mercilessly. I really hate I was born into this world to experience all of this shit! Watching Violet Evergaden restores my humanity. The drama is so good it evokes all sorts of pleasant emotions to the point where I'm sometimes on the verge of tears. Then, as soon as I finished watching it, I lost it all again and then some. Such is the life of a misanthrope. Haha! It's been a long time since I last saw S1, and I still remember many scenes as if I've just seen it recently. This is a very good summary movie. There are no new scenes. |
