| This season sure knows how to use its soundtrack, especially in the second half of this episode. What a fight! This was not just about a fight to see who wins but one about friendship too. Beautiful. |

| So... this is what we were waiting for all this time. Yutaka Nakamura, Hironori Tanaka, Yuki Hayashi, and the greatness of many more. What more can a fan ask for? Aside from that, Mob is such a precious child. Sun Dimple was cute and he looked just like Pikachu. LOL. They are a cute duo. Dimple and Mob. That piggyback was cute. Then, Brocolli's ego awakened itself. But, Dimple was there to protect Mob which was so sweet of him. The action was too freaking amazing. I have no words to describe it. But, then, it made me sad as well. Mob crying never helps... T__T Goodbye, Ekubo. |

| Now thinking back, Ritsu and Reigen did give Mob several hints about the uniqueness of that monkey shirt, but I guess Mob's just too thick-skinned to take any of those lol. Though mocking him directly will have consequences. Still Mob isn't there to blast Ekubo away, he would’ve if he wanted to but no as he trusts him, trusted that he didn't have any malicious intentions. At the end of the day Ekubo indeed was doing something he always longed for, much of Mob’s awareness at that. Mob understands him and values their bond more than anything, so he always has that belief, like him Ekubo wanted self-acknowledgement as well. So like a true friend he’ll be there for him to feel that way from now onwards. But things don’t end the happy way when you want it the most, as was the case here. The true self of Psycho-helmet taking the form of the wishes of believers and that of Ekubo himself, came out as the final boss. The soundtrack, the visuals, that tension throughout the second half was at its peak. And again the arc was already good enough back in the manga, but the adaptation took everything above and beyond. Bones = GOAT. So long, Ekubo. Indeed manly tears towards the end. |

| Ever since his introduction as an ally, Dimple's biggest goal was being able to brainwash and control Mob for his own gains. He finally managed to do so this episode... and used said control to send Mob home safely. :( |

| Great episode with a wholesome departing moment between mob and dimple, don't really know why people didn't like that they didn't fight but instead they talked it out. Really didn't expect ekubo to pass away so soon and wtf is gonna happen in the show, the broccoli took drugs and is flying high, mob doesnt remember anything... cant wait to see how it's gonna go For now sayonara ekubo |

| Masterpiece of an episode. Holy shit this episode was stacked with many famous animators like Nakamura,Tanaka,Yuki hayashi etc.. Best episode of the whole season as of now. Absolutely insane cut from Nakamura. I thought this was the episode with 20000 frames but I guess not? It's probably ep 8. Fantastic episode and directiob |

| For everyone who didn't know, Episodes 4-6 were premiered in Japanese theatres, and I can see why. There was more polish within these three episodes, and the story was pretty solid. Ekubo and Mob in the end, shared the wanting for genuine friends, and with Ekubo's liking towards Mob all this time, he couldn't bring himself to kill him, and in fact, saved him. Best episode of the season so far, and one that had me quite a bit emotional. Had me tearing up for a good chunk of the episode, good stuff. Farewell, Ekubo. |

| When I started watching this episode this wasn't what I expected to see. But it was the most logical step forward. Can't believe Ekubo was gone. He's probably the 2nd best character of Mob Psycho 100 (right after Reigen) and I will surely miss him a lot. Both the animation and the emotion were perfection in this episode. BONES did it again. Nearly teared up. |

| So I'm a little confused by the ending: did Dimple send the tree into space to keep the entity from harming people or did Dimple die right after sending Mob away and the entity just flew off on its own? |
