| Some people have said that Madoka is a horror anime, but it isn't tagged as such on MAL. So, I wanted to know if people think it's a horror anime or not. |

| Not really. There is only one part that could be considered as "scary" and the second watch of it gets rid of any scary feeling from it. So no. |

| I'd have to say no. There are horror elements, I guess, but I wouldn't say this series is designed specifically to scare people. |

| I agree with previous posters that PMMM has horror elements but that it is not truly horror. I think what makes the show so "horror like" is it's surrealistic elements. There are barely any people in the show and everything seems rather dreamlike (Shaft tends to do that --> see Monogatari Series) |
