| Nagoya is not in either Kanto or Kansai, but it is in its own region Chubu. Chubu is consists of Aichi, Fukui, Gifu, Ishikawa, Nagano, Niigata, Shizuoka, Toyama, and Yamanashi Tokai is consists of Shizuoka, Aichi, Gifu and Mie. Tokai is kind of a sub-region of Chubu Chukyo or Nagoya Metropolitan Area consists of only Aichi, Gifu, and Mie. Basically, it is the area around the city of Nagoya. So, Shizuoka was not included in Chukyo. |
