| This is one of those endings that I don't like, but still am okay with. It's like *No.6 spoiler* what happened in No.6, the main hero leaves his lover to save the world and then the fans hope they reunite later. Like, it makes sense, and fits into the plot... I just don't like it ;~; God damn, I hope the two of them meet up again eventually. |

| I just finished Paradise Lost after months of putting it off.... I finally had that itch in me to find out how the story ends. I absolutely loved the plot, and the ending kiss was wondrous on multiple levels....... But I feel as though this story should continue! Though I was semi-satisfied with the way things were left with Saki and Akira....I hoped SO much that the very last moment of the movie would go a little something like: "Saki turns around to find Akira standing a few feet away, smiling back at her. At last, he has returned." Wishful thinking, I know. I suppose we'll never know if they meet up again or not. But I think their kiss highly suggests that Akira will eventually make his way back to her. Unfortunately, we won't be blessed with the animation to showcase it. |
