THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Pretty much a full-on competition mode for the final 2 episodes:
Kogahara with Himekawa vs. St. Clavis with Shinozaki vs. Ionodai with Maeshima.

NGL, Himekawa leaving Ionodai is more of blessings than a curse, being able to skate freely as he wanted with tandem with the other skating teammates. WELL DONE for breaking unexpected expectations and surpassing with that personal best score on the Free Skate.

St. Clavis is pretty much the same with Shinozaki, the teammates improvising his techniques to fit the big picture. A perfectionist working on the entertainment value...more like defying the very limitations of skate-leading. A picture-perfect performance no doubt.

The predictable writing is pretty much on the wall for Ionodai for next week's final episode, but we'll see.

Praying hard that Ionodai wins, major disappointment if they lose or something.

Sasugai and Maeshima have wanted for their whole lives to beat Shinozaki, I just want them too.

The competition is unexpectedly exciting. Souta Jounouchi has stomachache, maybe he didn't "clean up" last night. I'm wondering if Hayato will replace him at the last minute.

Result prediction, this team will have highest free program score, but when combined with short program score it'll lose to St. Clavis.

Nice to finally see some actual, full performance even though it was a far cry in comparison to the quality in the first episode (I think this one used cgi? Not too sure, watched on the phone). I hope the last episode will be a blast regarding both Maeshima's victory (gotta see that move their coach thought him) and animation quality.

I was recommending this anime to my friends that like generic sport shounen anime while saying how this is one of the rare ones where the last boss/rival isn't an arrogant ass but that went down the drain in the previous episode. Still, it was nice to see how Himuro and the rest of the team see Shinozaki and their mutual respect. In spite of everything, I still enjoyed this anime and all the characters (that's why I am worried for Shinozaki's mental state when he loses next week). Anyways don't know why I'm writing all this it's not the final episode yet.
Noir… It is the name of an ancient fate. Two sisters who watch anime. The peace of the newly born, their black hands protect.

Five teams already performed their best in the final deciding round: free skate. No shit goofing around at short program and straight to see their beautiful way to stunned the audience with their all-out performance.

Himekawa already showed his best with their old team. But the king of ice just way too perfect to beaten. I wonder whats Sasugai plan to destroyed that damn perfectionist attitude and revenge his old grudges? Or its just over without any second blink? Lets see it through the next part!

Maeshima has such a big mouth. He better become Victor or any other skating deity if he wants to beat one-dimensional Shinozaki in the finale.

With that kind of enthralling high level performance by St. Clavis Gakuin i wonder if Ionodai has some sort of Trump card that could turn the tables into 180 which could make all audience in shocking awe of Ionodai unexpected comeback?? it's impossible hard to top that unless something unique of a secret performance that they're gonna reveal on us...
but i wouldn't bet on it since red-hair MC is just smiling and thinks so high of himself...

I just can't wait to see Reo's mental breakdown in next episode (cause this show would be a joke if Maeshima lost). He is my favorite character, but he definitely deserves to get his ass beaten.

I've been reading comments from others and I can't understand why people hate it.

Maeshima is my little wild cutie. Reo is a little b*tch that I hate and I love and Sasugai is an evil skating mastermind.

This episode was also one of my favvvss. St. Clavis came out and dominated as usual plus I got to hear more from my little b*tch. He's so good because he constantly tries to learn.

Something my wild child should do but next week.

I actually like Ionodai's team dynamic as well. I don't know but most sports anime kinda romanticize the sport (maybe that's a wrong term) so we don't really see the true aggression of competing.

I can't wait for next episode when I see my wild baby beat Reo.

Kinda glad this is almost over.... Sasugai is really annoying and so is Maeshima. I kinda want them to lose.

In the version of this episode I watched, they kept forgetting to color one of the twins hair LOL RIP....

Their outfits has been bothering me so much...I won't be shocked if later I see them skating wearing a Burqa.

If Ionodai wins then it would be too predictable but them losing would be no point of this typical show but it would be realistic if they lose. Also Maeshima really pissing me off so I want them to lose.

I like this episode the most. But I still don't understand Kogahara issue. Is it Himekawa not confident with his skill or Himekawa affraid his team cannot keep up with him ? And why would the team has to keep up with him ? Cannot Himekawa just perform his super jump and the team perform what ever safe for them ? I don't understand why performing that jump make his team cannot keep up with him. I don't see they jump and spin after that consecutive jumps. Doesn't seem too demanding compare to Himekawa part.

I have the same issue with their costume too. But for me, it would be more like how can they jump and spin with that costume. First, it would be distracting and second the judge or machine cannot see the technique.

Agree. He couldn't shine as he is right now if he still in Ionodai.
