| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Several younger fox demons (searching for their parents) mistake Shippo for a hero when Inuyasha destroys a demon with his wind scar. Inuyasha fans would probably be annoyed with what Shippo is doing but we all know how strong is Inuyasha to begin with^^ They turn to Shippo for help against a salamander demon and manipulate Shippo into betraying his latest crush, a girl named Mizuki. |

| That was adorable. I love the one that called Shippo "Mustard" xD I have a question though: If full demons can't touch the Tessuiga, how was Shippo able to swing it around without the barrier repelling him? (At the part where Shippo wanted InuYasha to teach him the Wind Scar) |

| What was mostly a very cute and enjoyable episode was ruined by Shippo being willing to do something mean to Mizuki, and that they never reconciled. |

| It was a cute episode but I'm kind of disappointed in Shippo; he is usually one of the more mature members of the group. It's uncharacteristic of him to do something so mean, especially to a girl he really likes. I guess peer pressure is a powerful thing, he wanted to be a hero to the fox Yōkai (I really wish they hadn't used the word demons in the translation). He should have just told them the truth in the beginning. It's a shame he never got to reconcile with her, but after what he did I don't really blame her. |
| First there were annoying monkeys and now it's annoying foxes. Damn. If Inuyasha's regressive personality wasn't an indication, the fact that Shippo, a full-demon, wielded the Tetsusaiga made it obvious that this was a filler. I guess the writer forgot about Tetsusaiga. And no way Inuyasha would just casually let Shippo manhandle his precious katana. |
| It feels like the writter of this episode forgot everything about the show... I was already said multiple times how Shippo and Kirara are the only full yokais in the group, and that no yokai would be able to touch tessaiga. Also, they clearly forgot that Inuyasha would never let anyone even touch his tessaiga, nonetheless, Shippo would've never agreed to hurt that girl the way he did. Kinda disappointed on this episode, even the previous fillers were more realistic into the Inuyasha universe. |
