The same thing happened to me with Baccano, but after loving Durarara and a friend telling me that Baccano was just as good once you got past the first episode, I gave it a try again, and boy, was it worth it. Episode 1 is very confusing and a little frustrating, though looking back it sets up the narrative nicely. If you persevere though you are definitely rewarded. :) |

| Last November I went to the creator of Baccano's (Ryohgo Narita) profile. I saw that he had another manga, went to the page. Then I saw it was going to have an adaptation. Saw the trailer in youtube, couldn't wait to see it. So far the anime is excellent. |
| Saw it in the 2010 lineup, and then after I watched a couple of episodes I saw that Baccano was in the Top 30 so I gave that a shot and now it is one of my favorite animes. |

| I saw a preview for it in Darker than Black, but think anything of it. Then on a whim, I looked Durarara up on MAL and saw that it was created by the same guy who did Baccano! so Durarara suddenly became an instant watch for me. :) |
