Sounds like a setting or a filter you are using is causing it. Do you have screenshots?  Perhaps they look like this? If you're seeing that, they're called scanlines. |

| That's called screen tearing, and it should disappear if you turn on V-sync. I don't use MPC-HC, but when I looked it up "V" from your keyboard is the toggle to turn it on or off. If that doesn't work, mess with the render settings. |
