| This smelled like filler from the very beginning... and I already knew exactly how this would go the moment I saw that chick on the motorcycle the first time. The hot villainesses never stays villains in One Piece, this is too obvious. |
| I like the new op, got tired of Hard Knock Days a long time ago. One Piece seriously should change its openings a little more often than once a year :< As for the filler, looks okay I guess. Nothing special. |

| I wish filler didn’t feel the need to add an obnoxious and simplistic villain group to give the Straw Hats far too much trouble. The reason G-8 is loved so much is partly due to its novelty, there’s not much like it in One Piece, and some are even tricked it’s canon. Full of interesting characters, scenarios, and humor. Yet here we get an obviously evil cult leader winning over his not-so-bad allies like the hot tsundere childhood friend of Bartolomeo; albeit a cool touch, with lies. We need to expose Bill and turn his allies against him! Didn’t we already get a similar arc with Caesar recently, just far better? Another solution to making filler interesting if not breaking away from expectation would be to just make it far more exaggerated and fresh, Desire and Bill are boring as heck to me. That said, the opening is cool. The boobage of Nami and Robin may be a bit much at times but I like it, especially the close up shots of Brook, and Chopper and Usopp’s raised arms. |

| As menacing as it was, Doflamingo's answer to Tsuru about the power vacuum he ended up leaving and the unimaginable conflict that will follow had showmanship levels that'd give Gyats a good run for his money! I'm so damn excited about the future fights between dozens of familiar faces. It looks like there's also a new Warlord and Admiral who haven't made their debut yet. The Beast Pirates certainly has the guts for going for the attack even when they know who they're up against. I wonder how things would turn out. It was such a huge surprise to see Lucci and the others again as members of Cipher Pol 0! I wonder what the other former members of CP9 are up to as well. In addition to seeing Dressrosa rebuilding itself, seeing Bartolomeo's ship, the Straw Hats' autographs, and their updated bounty posters was a real treat. He's more or less the luckiest and most dedicated One Piece fan in the whole world, that's for sure! |
