| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, the first half with Flamesoul was fairly weak, but the second half was much better with the plot twists surrounding Licoris and Esperanza, and other added plot points such as Majic being scared to use magic. Part of why the first half felt weak was that not much plot is explained until the second half. But overall, the first series was probably better. I liked a few other things like the use of the yellow flowers and Esperanza's piano OST. A nitpick for this episode though, there was no way Licoris could get that high up to McGregor when Orphen needed a flying spell to reach them. |

| Enjoyable but not as good as s1 where imo first half was totally pointless and only near the end things got interesting with Majic's struggle and the main story involving Lycoris. This season would've definitely been better if it was reduced to few ova episodes since the majority of the episodes felt like filler. |
