I like Japanese rock, Japanese pop, and Korean pop but not as much as I used to back in the day. I still like it a little bit, and even have some artists that I really like.

I dislike K-Pop, I haven't come across a single enjoyable K-Pop song yet.
As for J-Rock, most bands I've found are pretty meh.
I like a couple Japanese Math Rock bands tho, they're pretty good.

I like 70s and 80s K-pop, and also Northern K-pop, I'm not really into J-rock at all.

And although OP didn't mention this, J-POP IS BEST! Especially 80s idol stuff, but 70s stuff and anisongs are good too~

i never did that but when people say k pop you know what thye mean

and i like power pop
"If you tremble with indignation at every injustice, then you are a comrade of mine"

When the union's inspiration through the workers' blood shall run
There can be no power greater anywhere beneath the sun
Yet what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one
For the Union makes us strong

The K-Pop genre is so huge I even created myself a TV-like channel for myself with VLC devoted to it's music and idols. I'm even watching Weekly Idol and Running Man on it >_>

I find kpop kinda fake. A lot of the songs don't have meaning, and the people had so much plastic surgery it's kinda sad. I feel like it gives someone as a person less meaning, considering that they changed themselves to fit societies standards. It just makes me sad... I prefer jrock, because the people tend to be more like real people. I also find that in the rock genre in general, theres more meaning within the songs. Music is more than how it sounds and how it looks. Feeling is a big part of it.

My vote obviously goes to jrock.

I like K-pop. But I am more of a korean hip-hop/rap kind of woman. I've learnt a lot about it while living in Seoul, so I appreciate their music one hell of a lot now.

I don't like rock in general so I'm not going to like Jrock. Not a fan of Kpop as well. From the few songs I've heard Kpop seems to be like if Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls still controlled American pop. The girls in Kpop look cute though.

I used to be the biggest KPOP fan, like I was such a highkey KPOP fan. Super Junior pretty much introduced me to KPOP around 2009, then I fell in love with BIGBANG and 2NE1, then years later I became a fan of EXO because they're so talented, but this fans of BTS made me decided to stop being a highkey KPOP fan because they're so violent and annoying.

But I still love EXO, BIGBANG, AND SUJU, though. I decided to just stay far far away from KPOP fans. BTS fans are the worst imho.

I listen to a lot of K-Pop. I love how they make songs that always get into your head and sound great. The dance moves are so eye catching. Love it.

I actually made a K-Pop/Anime Discord server if anyone wants to join.
A server for KPop fans, anime fans, and all things asian, The Debut Stage Discord server!

No no Kpop
Yes yes Jrock (despite how extreme make up and weird their PVs are)
My fave Jrock bands are SuG, D=OUT, the GazettE and alice nine. ;3

I like Japanese rock and even more, Japanese metal. But American and European bands, even South American bands crush the Japanese at metal/rock. Japan and Korea are better at making pop, they just lack the style.
