| I've pirated tons of software, porn, games, and movies illegally. I remember when Windows 10 launched, people were screaming that Microsoft would "invade" my privacy and "scan" my computer for illegal data and send it to copyright holders and fuck my shit up. Yet a year has passed and nothing happened. I have a UI resembling Windows XP like the old days, gameplay is smooth, DX12, and I'm still torrenting shit at a frequent rate. Was "Windows 10 is evil" just a meme constructed by conspiratards? |

It's "conspiratard" to go this way though, since I lack any evidence to have this claim stand. I do know it's usually a bad idea to have any type of tracking on you when you're doing illegal shit, like say, possession of child pornography or anything related. It would also depend on where you live. Another thing is that no one wastes resources on going for you because you're pirating shit for personal use, seriously. |

And with articles constantly coming out informing us that micrococks is monitoring activity down to the hour, along with how many pictures have been viewed, and cortana related stuff such as search queries. Also with the forced """"""""Upgrade"""""""" that many people woke up to find they had win10 forced on them and the only way to reset was wipe your hard drive and re install your older windows again, as well as them shitting on all old windows because windows 10 is the most secure, compared with 7 or 8, that is until till some 12 yearold hacks your servers you keep all our logged info and leaks a few million peoples details. "Windows 10 Home Edition, installed with default settings, has the ability to send your hardware details and any subsequent changes you make to Microsoft, log your internet browser history, keystrokes, Cortana questions and requests, display advertisements within your Start Menu and even control your bandwidth usage." I even heard they can log your credit card number, address details, phone numbers etc, I dont know if its true but I wouldn't put it past them and what's stopping them really. Also if you agree to the TOS you cant sue them for invasion of privacy, since it says you consent to it as its just "analytics's data" |
