| Loved it, especially the character designs which are like Minami-Ke had babies with a KyoAni show. Chinatsu is basically a young Minami Kana. I must admit seeing JC Staff on the cover made me expect this to be bad. I know the studio doesn't make plots good or bad but JC Staff have been on a failstreak lately with really tasteless shit, somehow But this is a keeper. |

| Seems like a nice slow and sweet anime. Enjoyed the first episode. Like Makoto already :D The girl's reactions to her being a witch were really funny :D That Mandrake reminded me of Harry Potter XD |

| An anime with quality comedy is what I need :3 .... The quality of graphics was above so-so, what I'm expecting from JC staff or "Japanese Cartoon staff" (not good image of the staff) I expected the end of mandrake scene very well (I was originally a Harry Potter fan) yet couldn't help but laugh (smile?) at it. |

| Enjoyed this episode from first to last. So much cuteness! Except for the mandrake scene lmao. I guess Makoto was used to interact with those things in Yokohama. Slice of life done VERY right. Can't wait for more. |

| Wow, this was a surprisingly nice episode.... I had heard good things from this anime, but my expectations weren't that high tbh (Im a skeptical asshole, what can i do). But this ep definitely delivered!!! Also that mandrake scene was so funny!!! They could have kept the close up shot on the mandrake for another whole minute or 2 and I swear I would have kept laughing XD. The way it wrapped around makoto's arm like was just too much hahahahha |

| Welcome back J.C. Staff. Finally, you're back to the right path. Slice of Life with supernatural? Hmm... The countryside backsound is very supportive atmosphere of Slice of Life. The story is still a salutation, not too much. Chitanda Eru J.C. Staff version? Her face and how she talk almost similar. Just add curious to her personality would be perfect. Then there are Mandrake from Harry Potter strayed into the world of anime. Nao was not surprised when knew Makoto is a magician. Why? I see this series will bring relaxing atmosphere in this season. |

| Oh God, this first episode too delicious, relaxing and fun at the same time, I immediately loved the story and its so natural way to explain what being a witch, pleasant characters, ditto for senografie. I like the character design, more than good quality of animations and drawings, I will immediately see the next episode. This anime along with Hai-furi, are my guilty pleasure of the season. |

| This anime is weird enough to watch. Like Harry Potter world if people knew about witches. I like the art style, it's nice and refreshing. Lets see how the story develops, if it doesn't focus too much on slice of life. |
| Lolz, 'gonna feel lonely. I really enjoyed the manga, and had pretty high expectations for this one (though I don't have much regards for J.C Staff). But this first ep'... dat' was far too flat. Not flat as it's normal to expect from a SoL, flat because it was a poor episode. First thing, Kei's voice : argh ! Way too... uninteresting. Same tone all over, no emotions,... OK the initial character isn't very energetic, but still, come on ! D: The global dubbing itself didn't really strike me. Backgrounds were cheap, but the graphics of the manga are as cheap so OK. Charact' design were as plain as in the manga, but time by time characters would develop strabism in the anime. Too bad. The music was nice, not incredible, but still nice. That was frustrating. The spirit was great, sweet, kind,... many scenes were great in their purpose, but I found them a bit "off". I didn't find Makoto's gags funny in the anime, despite the fact I did while reading the manga. For the moment, my opinion is that it's a poor adaptation. |

| Definitely the biggest positive suprise of this season. It was great. The only 'but' is characters art quality , that looks too CG-ish :( But backgrounds (as expected by Triple A) ... I want to be there :O Makoto looks similar to one of the girls in Amagami SS |

| I waited for the anime since the announcement... The first episode was monotonic and I almost fell asleep because of that. I didn't find any character I like yet but her cousin (I think) was the most boring character I ever saw in anime till now. I with it going to change. |
| This is one of my personal favourite pilots among those of this season's lineup that I have watched so far. A couple of seconds into the opening scene with that lovely, mellow tune playing in the background (which is now stuck in my head) and I instantaneously knew that this show is perfectly tailored to my liking. boledcool said: Nao was not surprised when knew Makoto is a magician. | After watching the shorts, this was way more satisfying. So far I'd it's a must watch of this season. Relaxing, enjoyable and really cute. Falling in love with it just by this first episode. When Makoto pulled the mandrake out of the ground it reminded me of Harry Potter. Count me the fuck in! The opening feat. 96 Neko is lovely! So, so glad utaite are getting more spotlight in OP/ED's and stuff. 4/5 for this episode. |

| This is a friendly series involved with witches. Not those dark one where they are out to kill human or human out to kill witches. I love the VA and I have been reading the manga for sometime now and glad that it's been turn into anime. Need more interaction between Makoto and Kei. |

| I saw the preview and thought... slice of life huh... Seems pretty peaceful even for a SoL. I then suddenly saw her fly... That was unexpected. So I had it as to watch. Now that it came out, I enjoyed it. She's a clutz, and I suspected kei-chan knew about it. That plant is creepy, I sure wouldn't want it either lol. Very peaceful and soothing to watch. A nice break from all the other intense series that is coming out. |

| I found the first episode to be very relaxing and calm. The pacing was just right not being too slow. I got some Non Non Biyori vibes but not as slow paced. I think I'm going to enjoy this a lot. |

| I really like the relaxing tone of the show. Probably one of my favorite first episodes of the season so far. It'll be interesting to see more characters appear. |
