The show needs to show that exaggeration, so it gave just the right gravitas to Riku's inferiority complex. well said & i completely agree! i'm wondering why this series didn't get as much attention with its star-studded voice cast, great art & sound direction. the pacing is great & overall pretty enjoyable, isn't terrible as a sports anime. also is their "stride" sport THAT difficult to understand - many people take issue with this just solely because they didn't understand the sport. also any form of fanservice in this is soooo tamed as compared to other all-male sports anime i've seen. i mean sure on a whole it's nothing innovative, but that score is pretty harsh methinks. anyway, this episode was great! loved the cinematography & OST |
