| I'm so happy Satoru's mom just accepted Kayo staying with them for the night. Her reactions to everything made me so happy and sad all at once. I keep getting sus vibes from the teacher. I know he's helping, but I can't help but feel something bad is gonna happen with him. Kayo's mom getting caught in the act was great. Wonder where it's gonna go from there. |

DON'T U DARE TOUCH KAYO U PATHETIC MOTHER >:( this is where we get to see kayo's development the most, and I really love the calm with the mix of action and thrill in this episode :D I feel like it pulls things together nicely :3 -calming episode, with again a cliffhanger forcing you to watch the next episode ASAP I hope Kayo lives with Satoru <3 |

| Kayo must have been overwhelmed by the love she was getting from Satoru’s mother. Like she really must have felt more love than she has here whole life. Kayo’s mother was pissed seeing Kayo, but even more pissed seeing the Fujinumas. |

| That breakfast scene captured that sense of caring that hits you like a freight train when you haven't had it in your life to perfection, loving this series so far. Also, Satoru is a king for that Yeah response in bed lmao |

| I just cried unabashed tears when Kayo broke down after seeing something as simple as a well-cooked meal prepared with tender loving care... The abuse and hopelessness this little girl must have gone through seems to be even deeper than meets the eye. Something so simple can mean so much to someone like her. She deserves a happy ending. I truly hope she gets one. |

| It was such a sweet episode! Hinazuki felt what it meant to live like a normal child. I'm just a huge fan of Satoru's mom. She's the real mvp. But I'm kinda worried about how they'll fit the rest of the story in just 4 episodes. There's still a lot we don't know. |

| I'm quite suspicious of the teacher not gonna lie. Sachiko is one of the best moms I've seen in anime. And yes, she's quite the demon lol That last scene with Kayo at breakfast... Damn tears flowed. T_T |

| Still confused as to why satorou thinks that keeping kayo safe for a couple more days will change anything, won’t the killer still be after her no matter what? I guess he is just buying time to get the child protective services on the case then. But what about the other two victims? By saving kayo does that just stop the killer from abducting anyone else?? Like is his motive to solely save kayo or to stop the killer completely. It should be the latter because obviously he has to save his mom in the present. Whatever, I’ll still keep watching. I am still very much intrigued, although I kind of already know who the murderer is from even the 2nd episode from some rather subtle hints. As long as those hints aren’t red herring, it’s kind of obvious, sadly. |

| Thankfully wasn't as bad as implied. If only Satoru's mom could just adopt Kayo... For one day Kayo could live as a normal girl like she was supposed to all those years. I do wonder, if Satoru figured out who it is, shouldn't he be able to recognize him. |

| Kayo's breakfast scene hits strongly here since i watched a real moment like this when i was young. A friend of my sister who had horrible parents came to spent a day with family and at the night out from nothing started to cry just like that. |

| This series' ability to change from a lighthearted mood in some scenes where everyone is just a kid wanting to have fun, to a completely uneasy mood that has me on my toes waiting for something bad to happen after every cut astounds me. |

| That was another near perfect episode and super wholesome at the end, with the bathing fun, hearing Kayo laugh, and the breakfast scene. Pure gold... |
| That breakfast scene said so much with very little dialogue. Satoru's mom is just an amazing person all around. |
| Scene with Kayo crying was very emotional and well made. It did not have any melodramatic verses just the atmosphere and it made it beautiful. |

| yosh atlast bringing her into his home.I like how perceptive Kenya and Miss Sachiko is .Glad they teamed up in this mission.I feel there is someone else beside the teacher who is doing the dirty work.The suspense is killing me |
