Tokyo Ghoul continues to dominate the rankings. XD . I honestly did not expect it to be so popular in New York. I am very pleased and happy about this.

I wonder if Ishida will ever make covers like this one and mostly the early Tokyo ghoul ones... the late TG and TG:re are atrocious.

Oh? Now that's a first...never heard anyone saying anything bad about the volume covers before...well we're all entitled to our opinions~ I personally think the TG covers get better with each new volume!!!

WOW! Tokyo Ghoul. Excellent. Attack on Titan Volume 1 still going strong.
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist.

Not surprised tbh, edgy stuff like Tokyo Ghoul does really well in the states. Kinda surprised Naruto is still ranking pretty high. Where the volumes delayed in the U.S. anyway nice to see it hasn't been forgotten.

Are you implying Prison School is edgy? Akame ga kill sure, but Prison School is pretty standard echii comedy.

For manga anything that has gore/blood/fucked up things/ or basically anything that isn't shounen and isn't Berserk is edgy.

Tokyo Ghoul very well! Nice. I'm wondering if OPM will rise rank again next week. Wouldn't be surprising to see My Hero Academia joining this list any time soon.

Only two of note for me, the rest not fussed. Magika Swordsman nails the mix of ecchi, action and comedy. Glad to see it up there (even with Seven Seas ruining the cover putting the logo in the damn middle!). Fab to see Fairy Tail still going strong.

Yeah I was fairly perplexed by that blatantly obvious censoring of an otherwise glorious cover as well. I mean...do they not understand the appeal of that series or...?

Also, yes, always nice when Fairy Tail's on the list.

Just bought a copy of Tokyo Ghoul vol 3, it's definitely going to stay in there forever. Surprised to vol 1 get up so high, guess a lot of people bought all 3 volumes at once last week.

How did a pointless manga adaptation of an obscure shitty light novel get so high? Slow week?

The market is too competitive for that to happen again I think. And it helps that all those volumes were simultaneously released that week. This by AoT is as close as we got back in 2013 and even that would be hard to replicate today.

yeah,..back then in 2009 there was almost no competition..thus..Naruto volumes were taking the top 10 list places like pieces of cake,..if AoT with its massive popularity couldn't do it as Naruto..then there is a a very small chance for TG,..but who knows..

All that Tokyo Ghoul though 0_0...but it's expected as usual, and nothing too interesting besides lots of great shounen type manga so yay for those manga. It's cool to see Big Hero 6 up there...I wonder if people bought it on accident not knowing it was manga...cause I did read some reviews on amazon "warning about how it's not a normal book"...oh how lovely people can be sometimes, lol.

OPM Vol 2 back in the Top 10 kinda surprised me.

I guess the trap Sonic can draw the interest of the fans in Murika lol.

Lol at the Nardo vs Sauce final fight doing less than TG, that tells u how Kishi lost his damn mind EoS.

Pretty standard edgy echii comedy, yes.

Prison School is standard? Say what you want about how the atmosphere feels to you, but the writing, the absurd comedy, the art, are some of the best in the medium.

It is FAR from standard. It's virtually a masterpiece.
