 Uta no☆Prince-sama♪'s official Twitter announced that the anime series will receive a fourth season. More information will be announced later.The series' third season aired in Spring 2015, and the last episode was broadcast on June 28. Four days earlier, the single Evolution Eve by Quartet Night (Reiji Kotobuki, Ai Mikaze, Ranmaru Kurosaki, Camus) was released, and it ranked 3rd in its first week on Oricon's Weekly CD chart. A piano book has also been announced and is expected to be released on August 10. Among other songs, it will contain sheet music for the newly released single and the third season's ending theme, Maji Love Revolutions. Based on the original otome game developed by Nippon Ichi and released on the PlayStation Portable in 2010, Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ received its first TV anime adaptation by A-1 Pictures in Summer 2011, followed by a second season in Spring 2013. In addition to the anime, the story has also been adapted into two manga series. The anime franchise is currently licensed by Sentai Filmworks in North America. | Despite it (more or less) being announced already: An anime spanning over four seasons -- and for a female audience! What a rarity we have here. So there wasn't simply a split, it'll be produced from now onwards... Just how long will it take for us to actually find out the results... (｡-｀ω´-) Hopefully they'll put more effort into the fourth season then. The start will probably be most important, as it connects to the previous season's "end". Many fans were disappointed with this one, so I hope the next one can make up for it. The first two ones were great so maybe it's not an impossible task. |

There are multiple shoujo and josei that ran for a few seasons due to their popularity, some notable examples being Cardcaptor Sakura, Honey and Clover, and Nodame Cantabile. Ore Monogatari could also be seen as an airing example. It's actually pretty rare, you listed four series out of hundreds and they don't mean long running they mean so successful they get consecutive seasons. Cardcaptor Sakura and Ore Monogatari are/were long running shows that were planned to be as such. (Ore Monogatari will also more than likely never see a second seaosn.) They didn't get their length because of popularity unlike Honey and Clover which saw two seasons and while that's impressive it's nothing like the now four seasons UtaPri has. It's lucky for any series in general to get a second season, let alone a third and then a fourth on top of that. |

| Woah, I've hold the the S3 somewhere in ep 10. I really have to finish it after reading this, I have to finish it through. Was a bit disappointed since they're really are getting into being professionals limiting the romance in it, there hasn't been any fillers so far. |

| I watched the first 2 and enjoyed it but then watched the 3rd and felt too sick to continue after the first episode (so much fanservice). I wanted to ask how was it, should I continue?? Let's hope the 4th is great ^^ |

| YAY! I like a lot of the VAs in this series (Mamo, Tatsun, etc) so I'm happy!
