What should I watch next? Usually I wouldn't bother choosing and just watch them both in a short time, but I don't a lot of free time right now so I want to choose wisely.

Watch Baccano! if you like being confused for the first half of a show.

Katanagatari, in my opinion, is easier to watch despite its length. Unless you don't like a lot of dialog, then that might be a problem.

Baccano has a conclusive ending even if it's not a full adaptation, I'd like to add.

And the overall feeling is extremely satisfying at the end.
