| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Magnificent! I hope that we will be seeing many more "picture dramas". This is a powerful art form which should not be dismissed as poor-quality animation. On the other hand, it can accurately be described as animation with a frame rate of clearly less than 0.5 frames per second. For standard animation, the maximum frame rate is 12 frames per second. However, on average it works out to about 2 frames per second, including in-betweens. I would far prefer to see a high-quality "picture drama" such as this rather than a half-hearted OVA. (or having nothing at all) |
