Are you a fan of Korean music, Korean dramas, Korean movies, or Korean culture in general? Then this is the thread for you.

This thread encourages discussion towards the latest songs of your favorite idol groups, the tear-jerking moments of Korean dramas, favorite movies, and the hilarity of Korean variety shows.

You can also recommend songs and shows to watch to each other; however, spam listing is not allowed.

I agree with you. There are some great indie band in Korea but it's quite sad no one gets to recognize their talent both inside and outside of korea.

Which movies did you like? I haven't seen the most recent dramas. I have mostly seen the older ones such as lovers in paris, full house, etc.

I'm not the biggest k-drama fan(i prefer movies) but i loved city hunter i really need to watch more k-dramas,i haven't even been keeping up with running man I'm about 10 episodes behind:(

and I'm loving Gary and Jung in's recent collaboration

and I havent seen city hunter. I guess I'll have to watch that next.

Well there are a few great episodes and some bad but the latest 2 episodes are really awesome. During the super hero episode, if you ever watch it, youll be surprised in one of the missions. It made me literally go LOL.

My bias group is Girl's Day, but I also love EXO, Red Velvet, Teen Top, B.A.P, 2NE1, Ailee, AKMU, IU, I'm just basically multi fandom lol.

Yeah I listened to it and it's really good. Tablo's solo album is one of my favorite album of all time. You should check out LEE HI's song called Rose (if you haven't already)

yeah same. i kind of got bored of them tbh. the old shinee songs appealed to me more because jonghyun's solos and such. now it's all about taemin lul

im out of the loop for the most recent kpop news, except for the big ones like the deaths of ladies code members and bom getting caught with meth.

Been listening to Epik High's latest album 'Shoebox' these past couple of days.
Can't get enough of it! Definitely better than '99' , I feel anyways.
Anyone else listen to this group? ^^

Yeah I'm a fan of Epik High! I haven't listened to their latest album yet, but I really dig their older stuff. If you haven't already, you should listen to Tablo's solo album Fever's End.

Oh I think I listened to some of the songs from his album already just from randomly searching on youtube for Epik High songs xD but will check out the rest that I haven't heard, thanks ^^

I've seen some of it since korean shows are famous in the Philippines. I enjoyed some of them like Stairway to Heaven, Full House, Jewel in the Palace, My Name is Kim Sam Soon, Winter Sonata, Temptation of Wife and Jumong. But that's when I was still watching tv. For kmusic.. well I'm not into that but many filipinos do.

OMG I wacthed those kdramas for the same exact reason! I remember watching those when I was a kid lol!

I've watched a good bit of K-drama in the past. I tried to start up a newer show a week or two ago too. Not sure if I have a favorite series though. The OSTs are always wonderful.

Also planning on watching Bad Guys, my Korean friend at school told me i should watch it.

Yes, the OSTs are one of the reason why I enjoy watching Kdramas.

YES! Kwang Soo is the fucking greatest. Instead of watching bad guys, watch Nice Guy! It has Lee Kwang Soo and Joong Ki in it.

Can't say I have watched it, but I looked at the sypnosis and it seems interesting. I say watch a couple episodes and see if it's your type of show. ^_^
