Pretty hilarious of Maeone to take the presents in such a manner.Izawa is a good instructor xD

Is this the first time they refer to Tanabe as "Mitch"?
Man, Tanabe's definitely one of my favorites. Along with Tanaka, he has the least lines or relevance, but it's good to see an episode centered around him... even if he wasn't in it for a lot of the time lol. Lurking around in the shadows...

I always feel bad when Tanabe cries, because it always feels so genuine.

I wonder if there'll be any sort of character progression where they solve his odor problems. The pool disinfectant seemed to do the trick that one time.. they should just make him shower before each practice.

...

Also, I'm proud of Izawa. In both halves of the episode did he do something uncharacteristically good. In the first part, he fiercely defends his "student" ... not worried about not getting her for himself, but that Kinoshita rejected her. In the second part, Izawa gives a GENUINE apology to Tanabe. Verbatim saying "I was wrong [to say mean things to you]". I mean... IZAWA. I like that he's a best friend to Maeno, but it's a shame that it prevents him from reaching his full potential as a nice guy to be around.

Tanabe wasn’t messing around at all I know his friends were talking behind his back and he had to hear the harsh truth but damn that is nothing in comparison to what he did to them Kinoshita got beat up and stuffed in a box Izawa got smoked and jumped and Maeno was beaten and hung up dangling on the staircase with rope as everyone watched him

Tanabe was too cruel for Kinoshito to be sure.
However Chiyoko is fantastic character, I hope we will get her more
