| @St0rmblade It didn't feel gratuitous as in "offered to the readership's eyes" (for pleasure) to me. More like both a mark of its time (all the really gratuitous Gundam bath/shower scenes in the various series/films) and a simple mise-en-scène choice to illustrate the character's smugness (not sure if it's the right word), just like Char 's pastel shower. It also kind of calls back to Athena's scenes in Arion (maybe my imagination though). |
