| what do you expect from a spin-off? its no way a continuation or prequel of soul eater thats why i did not bother watching it too because from what i heard its just slice of life anime |

| The spin off is actually a lot better than I thought it would be based off the first episode. Soul Eater is like one of my most favorite series ever, so SEN It's one of the series I'm looking forward to most for spring. |

| well with Soul Eater ther thing is, that at the part with the snow island the anime stopt following the manga and created original work, so for it to follow the manga i think we would need a Soul Eater Brotherhood or something like that |

| FMAB was made because the sales of the 1st FMA adaptation was piercing the heavens... and Soul eater isn't the case. I don't think you guys actually believe in Santa Claus though. |

| I don't mind the new show, it's a spin off. Now if we get another Soul Eater anime that follows the manga, then that's a plus! If we don't then whatever I can still enjoy the soul eater anime that I love. |

The only meager, almost nonexistent possibility is if they base their market solely on the Anime industry and try to bank in on Anime fans. This is so minute of a possibility considering Bones as a studio will not be able to handle another flop that an entirely new production company will have to license the series for a remake. Soul Eater Not! on the other hand, is a currently publishing Manga that will be ending by the end of this year, that is why an Anime at this point in time would bare fruit whereas one of Soul Eater would not. |

I probably wouldn't watch it without them Pretty much, although the one action scene they put in the first ep was good, but the characters and artwork seems to be designed to target the "moe" audience rather than the shounen one. I really have no idea why they think it looks good to put those red spots on characters knees and cheeks.. like what is up with that? i don;t know, maybe it has something to do with how blood is under that layer of skin? :I ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- if it does well enough, they may make a 2nd season of Soul Eater if it becomes AOTY they will make 3 more seasons Of Soul Eater NOT and rename it MoeEater: the animation |
