Absolute banger, loved how he carried is friend back, it was sad and heartfealt and really meant a lot.

One of the most touching episodes of a rollercoaster series; In my opinion, it finishes the season perfectly.

This ending made me cry. Watching the respect Kaneki has for his dear friend even in death…. The emotions Touka has. The both of them in their own separate misery and agony this is also somehow mixed. The way this series ends was beautifully done for a season that had so many upset.

* Worth noting, I’ve never seen the manga. I’m sure if I had read the manga that I wouldn’t feel so attached, but I’m kind of glad I haven’t just so I could fully enjoy this. Was it rushed? Yes. But rushed doesn’t mean it was completely lacking in good moments. Rushed means there were plot holes but many series have those.
