Plus there is no way to attach a message to the submission, so if you can't find it based on year and title there's not much I can do. That said this one isn't particularly hard to find, looks like you Googled it, saw exhibition and denied it right there. |
| You had to re-submit only four of them iirc. Everything else was taken care of. You can put any message/notes, or source links within the More Info field for the moderator to look at. These will be removed upon approval. I am asking in case you have the DVD's at hand and can confirm/provide pictures for the titles, etc. But if you are going by the list on the anido page, than yeah, nothing much you can do, beyond doing your own research on the net. That is not mandatory of course, but would be helpful. Especially with the more obscure works. |

And why she started struggling to self-insert herself into her grandmother's stories like in the silo and why all the new dialogue between the two was about Anna's subconscious thoughts of being alone and scared. I should note that the film also mentioned Marnie had a mental illness as well. It was the reason why Anna's mom was abandoned (so Marnie could be in a sanatorium) and why Marnie eventually died. So it looks like mental illness runs in the family. I agree with Akarin's addition of "mystery"; there was sleuthing about who Marnie was and uncovering Anna's past. |

Stop-motion is stop-motion. Instead of the objects being puppets, it's people. The material used to imitate motion (whole point of stop-motion) shouldn't matter. Plus it was included on Koji Yuri's official animation film work's DVD right there nestled between his normal anime. I kinda think of it like this: what if those were corpses. Corpses are no different from dolls if they're used like that. Does does being alive mean it disqualifies something as a stop-motion animation object? It's not like the animation is done due to them being filmed in their movement, the animation is done though the photographs of them being manipulated into those positions, just like dolls, corpse dolls. Totes agree on the 11eyes entry. I just checked my copy and it's got framed panels with speech bubbles and SFX. |
