| Oh god, a Renge and Candy Store Lady-centric episode?! One of my favourite episodes for sure! I absolutely loved all the adorable Renge moments and expressions that she made; she's so darn cute! I like how Renge was able to pick up multiplication really quickly. Renge was determined to ride her bicycle without her training wheels but she kept falling over. I love how the Candy Store Lady rushed to Renge's house as soon as she heard that Renge was sick. Renge giving her coat to the Candy lady as she was sleeping was such a nice gesture and even she really liked it. Eventually, she did help Renge out all day to ride the bicycle. Now, Renge can finally ride her bicycle with no training wheels; her band-aids shows how much hard work it was! God, I love this series and Renge and Candy Store Lady are the best. <3 5/5 |

| And this pretty much sums up the topic why I love Non non biyori so much. Most shows aim to please through romantic means. Non non biyori doesn't limit itself to that. It offers friendship scenes and most importantly, it portrays familial relationships. And those are quite rare in anime, even more if you want a well-developed, and well-written relationship. Most importantly, the characters are relatable, quirky and fun. I don't know one can not love this anime. I am sorry, I am just deep into it. I plan to rewatch both first and second season. One scene, I really loved this episode was; when Kaede asked Renge if she wants to teach her how to ride a bicycle. That scene just struck me. The expressions on Renge's face weren't particularly obvious but they said so much. Usually it's the kids which are pestering the adults to teach them stuff and to join them in their activities. But adults being adults, find kids' stuff boring (tho they might not admit it) and tend to get bored easily. It must have been really special thing for Renge to be offered help without asking. I just loved that entire scene. Also, later when Kaede had taught Renge how to ride the cycle, and it was evening time. How she left the bicycle in that scene speaks volume. It It is such a beautiful scene, I just kept rewatching that. It's like watching your kids grow up, and so fast on top of that. These two aren't even mother/daughter, which makes it even more beautiful. I am no father, but it just strikes right through the heart. Later, how everyone was commenting that Renge has learnt how to ride the bicycle, she didn't say that she is the one who taught her. She just went along with the flow. Kaede really has a beautiful heart. Gah, I really want to live in their village. I wish I had spent my childhood in a similar place to that. MAL really needs to bring on a bias system of sorts. There should be one normal score, and one biased score. I am saying this because I really, really want to give this anime an 11/10. I just love it so much... And solid preview LMAO. One more thing... Renge HAS parents. I am relieved. |

| Yet another fantastic episode, though that does seem to be the trend with episodes involving Renge and Candy Store's relationship. The way Konomi messed with Renge at the start and her reactions to it was quite funny as well. |
| Renge + Kaede = Guaranteed brilliant episode. =3 Konomi messing with Renge at the beginning was cute, especially when Renge's epic facial expressions appeared too. XD But it was the second half with Renge learning to ride her bike with Kaede that made the episode so awesome. Simply watching Renge learning, falling, getting patched up and then trying once again with Kaede's help, while viewing the sunset background and listening to the lovely BGM is as close to perfection as you can get for this show. The preview for Episode 11 though.......just what the hell is Renge doing? I'm guessing she's had too much sugar or something. ^^ |

| Brilliant episode. I was tearing up when Candy Store was teaching Renge how to ride the bicycle. I don't know, it was touching. The same with Renge covering Candy store when she fell asleep at the table. Little things like this are the reason why I like Non Non Biyori so much. Infatuate said: Does Renge ever laugh or cry? | What a heart-warming episode! It's very fun to watch on how Renge reacts to Konomi-nee! Very easy to troll Renge! Who would have though Renge is really good at Math! 1st grader only but for Multiplication table, Renge does it simply by brute force Addition! LOL at the terrified face of Renge! Priceless! Renge already wants to train riding a bike with no training wheels! as for me I trained from a Mountain Bike...lol it was also hard at 1st...haha! Renge trained in front of Dagashiya's store! Renge got sick because of over-training! this episode (2nd half part) really shows how Kaede is really overprotective to Renge. She cares so much for Renge...ahihi LOL at Natsumi, really knows how to pick people! nee nee's hot pot for dinner looks yummy! 6/5. |

| A really nice episode, the narrative rhythm is the usual, but with a very deep impact on the feelings this time .When it comes to Kaede and Renge, one can not be happy for the beautiful bond that exists between them.
