| This guy lost me at Point #1. The degradation and objectification of women? This guy obviously hasn't seen very many varieties of hentai then. Anime porn isn't any worse for you than any other form of entertainment other than it might kill off a few more sperm that you were naturally going to lose anyway. I laugh at this guy describing point #3. He makes it sound like every hentai creator is creating completely malleable characters that are meant to be degraded. Has this guy not seen hentai like Virgin Night, Suika, One: True Stories, etc.? Not every hentai out there is created to completely objectify women and treat them as nothing more than rape bait. Hell, there are some hentai out there where the women rape the men (I know, crazy since women NEVER rape men, am I right?!) This guy is pretty delusional if he thinks hentai porn is worse than real porn. The worst thing hentai porn has ever done is give someone carpal tunnel. The worst thing real porn has done is transmit life threatening sexually transmitted diseases and also led to some suicides. Oh, but that isn't worse than anime porn at all! Right?! The fact of the matter is, sex is a natural act and attraction is an inhibition that (almost) all living beings have. The difference between humans and animals is that humans have a means of controlling sexual urges (i.e. masturbation/abstinence) while animals just "do it," whether both animals want to or not. Porn isn't going to interfere with love in that love is an inherent gesture between two people that have both a physical and emotional attraction for one another. In other words, watching porn shouldn't "interfere" with your ability to love someone. Hell, I wouldn't even be surprised if porn kept a few potential rapists with strong urges at bay (aka. committing the crime). Is porn immoral? Sure. However, to say loosely phrased statements like "anime porn is bad for you" and then give some shallowly explained reasons with egregiously misleading examples as to why it is bad for you is counterproductive and a waste of time. |

| I don't really care what other people do. I've really been dailing back on porn though, since it was a pretty huge time sink for me and the benefits didn't really outweigh the costs. I don't think there's anything inherently bad about enjoying hentai or porn, it's usually a lot, less risky and more productive than dealing with real women anyway. Obligatory 2D>3D |
