| By "lolicon" you mean "potential fathers" because males who fail to find children cute are more likely to be abusive. The audience on MAL has no correlation to what anime are produced. Even if everyone here agreed on wanting a sequel to a certain anime, if the Japanese public didn't want it then it wouldn't happen. Loliconism is even more common in Japan than it is here because of how important cuteness is to their culture and because of how young Japanese people tend to look until they're middle aged and sometimes older (Asians are like IRL loli). A lot of Japanese fetishes such as yaeba, twintails, and flat chests stem for the desire to have a youthful mate. |
