| So basically out of the two main girls that could end up with subaru who do you think is best and why? I chose Rem because this anime is just making it impossible not too ship them!! Everytime I see them together I forget who emilia even is hahaha RemxSubaru best future couple of 2016 hands down. |

| You know the poll results are going to swing overwhelmingly in favor of Rem at this point. I also like Rem more, but I hear Emilia gets much more development from the next arc onward, so I'm going to refrain from voting for now. Although...if polygamy is a viable option, , Rem would certainly have to be a part of it. |

| This poll would have made some sense after arc 4 where Subaru hadn't fucked up all his relationships and actually developed as character and gotten romantic developments with Emilia. You know rather latching on to the next available person because she is the only one there. So you know... you can actually compare properly. |
| My Top Three Choices: #1 Rem #2 Rem (Yes, again) #3 Emilia Emilia is nice. She's got the looks (slim elvish profile), the personality (kind and loving), and the ability (can defend herself and others, and of course, she's also got her "alter ego" going for that as well). But Rem slams her with personality. Love and devotion (together with good looks, too :p) trumps all. I myself am an outsider when it comes to liking heroines in these sort of stories with romance. I usually end up preferring the girl other than the main heroine. But Rem is special. It seems the anime audience and fandom of the books seem to be on the same side too :D |

While I don't really care for either of these pairings at least the one with Rem doesn't feel like total BS (in multiple ways), with Emilia it basically boils down to: "she saved him once from being robbed" + "she is the female lead character" = "the main love interest for the male lead character" which is pretty much as forced & cliche as it can get. |
