| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Good to Pina Co Lada get more screen time though including bits of her background/past:  Looks like she meets the other girls as well. Also, it's hard to forget about Rory's teasing like usual.  I'm still enjoying the world fiction and in general the character relationships. Feels like Rory got slightly closer with Itami too. Expecting some big action coming soon including some bits of it this episode. |

| Probably the best episode so far. Rather exciting cliffhanger there, definitely left me wanting more. I enjoyed Pina Co Lada's(heh) backstory too. Looks like Rory sees some action next week. |

| As expected it's not as brutal as in the manga tho that's understandable, this was the one scene i expected to be changed for sure seeing what happened in the manga here. In any case next week should be great and i can't wait. It's nice seeing the princess in action. |

| >MCs didn't appear at the last second to fight back I really expected it but it didn't deliver, good job, really good. I kinda expected the princess and the people to be more against the military help since they *probably* know they were the ones that killed all their forces on the hills but they don't seem to hold a grudge or anything against them, suprised on that front as well. I also can't see how much help guns are going to be when it's 12 vs 500 but hey, they'll probably turn things around anyway. |

| Quite the cliffy we had there. Lots of lives will be lost while Pina decides whether she should summon the JSDF. If they come with Rory so much OWNAGE would happen tho so I can't wait! Rory's so awesome. Her interpretation of Itami's words "Terrorizing" was lol Hope they can at least give Rory's craziness some justice nxt week. |

| Piña Co Lada is one of the dankest names that one could have (besides Rory Mercury). Another nice transition episode this week. While I do wish the pace could be picked up, I thought that Pina's background and intentions were well set up here. I think that GATE would be an awesome show to marathon but I will admit that the weekly waiting is a bit brutal at the moment (not that I have the patience to wait). At least it looks like next week is when the shit is gonna hit the fan and Rory is completely "unleashed". CANT WAIT. |

Just for your information. Itami actually said, "So yu kotoni natteru hazu dakedo" or "It is supposed to be so, you know" with a slightly sarcastic tone. Nowadays, any country's regular military force (including JSDF) is supposed to be organised only to protect its own domain, not to be used for territorial aggrandizement. He knew it could be nothing but a technical statement for form's sake. That why he said "supposed" at the time. |

But she's also inexperienced, which makes what happened believeable. Really liked this episode (aswell as any other stuff which in the other world, still kinda afraid that 'Normal World' politics may ruin this anime) |

| Ah, the Battle of the Italica....and Princess First Battle...aw how she along with her Knights were so cute when they were just little children! X3 Even if they are laughed and insulted..well I say their chance will come. Well, liked how Princess and Itami Squad met...even if Itami got Gate into face. and he learned Language from that? Oh boy..Rory is going to get her Slaughter Fest. for Sure and is going to enjoy it. So..those Former Soldiers turned Brigadiers are just enjoying the Slaughter. and looking the Place to die. Yep Princess just Learned Truth and the Brutality of the War... Well...when the Cavalry arrives...well, things will get interesting!! XD |

Pina sure is in a pinch, but Itami will save her from the painful experience she's going through now. I can see her being a part of his harem soon. Looking forward to Rory's craziness. Every scene she appears turns out great, and next episode should be no different. |
