Question about spoilers spoilers

Kay so from what I hear one of the best points of AO were the plot twists. Having just watched and enjoyed the original Eureka Seven, I figured I'd watch the sequel too. Now heres my issue: prior to watching Eureka Seven I spoiled myself on accident to AO's plot, or rather I spoiled the fact that Ao is Renton and Eureka's child, the fact that the aforementioned first child died and Ao was sent back in time, and that Renton wants to destroy scrubs or something. Series ruined for me? Or is it still worth watching?

There's still a lot more stuff that you might be interested in. Bad series, but that doesn't spoil everything.
