| I tend to lean towards shounen titles because they're typically more suited to my tastes... but I think I have a bit of variety, as lately I've watched some josei, comedy, and slice-of-life(ish) stuff . |
| As a bit of an obsessive person, I keep a list of anime that I watch in each genre. I can say that I have watched anime from most genre, except shounen-ai and yaoi. However I tend to watch anime in certain genre more then others. For example I enjoy a lot of action, drama, supernatural. However I have not seen many police, sports or josei. So all in all, I have a mix perhaps not a great mix but a mix. |

| I am generally very very open minded when it comes to watching anime, i will try anything and everything with the acception of hentai and yaoi. So yeah i think i have a great variety of anime worth watching. |

| I like to think so. I have a lot of different tastes, so I look at a lot of different genres. I'm sure that if I took a closer look at my list, though, I'd notice a lot of genres that I've neglected or don't even have in the 1st place. (I know I'm lacking a lot on yaoi/yuri/hentai and a little bit on sports/josei). I'm always open-minded, though, so it's a process I'm working on of getting in more variety. |
| I think yes. I have a pretty good variety. Though the biggest part of them is still Slice of Life and comedy (didn't really intended it in the beginning, but I'm glad I did, because most of them are amazing). But I watched my fair share of action, romance, drama, thriller, sci-fi, mecha, psychological, magical girl and even things like Shoujo-ai and some hentai (the hentai are so irrelevant that they are not listed though). I watch anything as long as it seems to be interesting (except Shounen-ai/Yaoi). |

| Yes, actually. At one point early on my shoujo to non-shoujo ratio was about 2:1 (I was in a bit of a phase). I've balanced that out with quite a few shounens. I've got at least one or two things in most of the genres, from thriller to mystery to romance to comedy. |
| I think so. It's definitely not even across the board, but I have a little bit of everything. I checked (because I'm just a little bored and felt like it) and I have watched something from every genre, all 43, that MAL has: from Shounen to Shoujo, Kids to Horror, Yaoi to Yuri, Josei, Sports, Hentai, Parody, etc. The Comedy genre is definitely winning at 17.4%, though the Josei genre probably has the highest score with an 8.6 average. Maybe not the best mix, but not bad either. |

I usually don't go near genres that border on pornography but I'd say I've got a pretty varied taste. I got into anime through Slice of Life and Comedy but since then I've watched Psychological, Mecha, Magical Girl, Sci-fi, Coming of Age, Action, Fantasy and wherever the hell Haruhi Suzumiya and Bakemonogatari fits in. I've given 10s to both K-On and Cowboy Bebop. I only started watching anime in November but I can safely say I've got a more varied taste than a lot of people. Which isn't really an accomplishment at all considering the amount of people who call Naruto and Bleach the best anime ever just because it's the only show they've watched   |

| Yes. I don't focus on any one genre. I have a bit of everything on my list. ...exceptions: Long Anime - I won't watch shows over 50-ish episodes. Hentai - I don't watch enough to bother to list them. Yaoi - Even if animated, I will NOT watch gay porn. ...If there's anything else missing, it's probably lurking on my PTW list or HDD somewhere. |

| I'd say my list is heavy on shounen and the generic ecchi/harem shows. It lacks josei and most serious drama known anime. A couple enjoyed hentai titles in there so no problem there. No yaoi; I think one or two shounen ai. One thing I can say I lack a lot of are 1990's anime and under; the classics pretty much. I can say my list is somewhat expanded but definitely not diverse as it could be. |

Started with shonen like most people but not because of being close minded or anything like that, just happened to get some recommendations of shonen first before any other anime when I was starting out.I still like the genre, it's not all crap like it's generalized to be at all. Recently began watching more slice-of-life/josei/seinen shows, I've liked almost every single one I've watched so far(I do pick carefully) Still low on shoujo though.The only things I won't try are any kind of porn/fanservice show, or horror anime(I've had my share with Higurashi already lol) |
