I would have an easier time telling you what not to watch, but I do think xxxHolic is worth watching. It has beautiful animation, an interesting storyline, and engaging characters with interesting relationships.

@SergioF

The only one I've completed watching in your PTW list is Ouran High School Host Club, and it's pretty good. It has a very nice combination of comedy and drama, and some really fun characters. As long as you don't take it too seriously, I think you might enjoy it. :)

Baccano! - You won't be sorry you watched it. It's action packed and keeps you on the edge of your seat. You might have to rewatch the a few eps to understand everything going on the first time, but the way the story is told is really captivating.

@Samurai_

first of all why would you even bother posting if you only have like 10 anime on your ptw. it's not really possible to give you a good idea of what to watch. but that aside...

Fullmetal Alchemist: Milos no Seinaru Hoshi. obviously not possible to watch yet until the dvd/bluray comes out yet but i'm sure it will be a good watch for any FMA fan.

Amagami SS OVA. one of the few OVA's that i've got a kick out of. most OVA's nowadays are filled with fan service so if you liked the regular season i'm sure you won't mind more of amagami ss. ^O^

Mirai Nikki- The first episode was great, seems like it's gonna be a highlight of the season
Baka to Test- It's funny to some(Including me) Who knows? You might hate it or enjoy it
Aria- The setting is beautiful and the development of Akari is amazing.

Horrible, I mean HORRIBLE loli harem show with the typical plot, characters and the stupid humor. The character design was awful, too. I could recommend it to you only if you are into harem, ecchi and lolis.

FLCL and Wolf's Rain. Totally different animes, FLCL is as frantic as freaking hell but short enough so you don't loose your sanity, and Wolf's Rain is just beautiful, the animation, story and soundtrack are breath taking and merge perfectly together.

Please do NOT watch Togainu no Chi. Weak plot, poor animation and no yaoi at all (not even a freaking kiss).

Gunslinger Girls- The first season of this show is so masterfully done I had to rewatch it. All the girls are amazing and it is such a beautiful and somewhat depressing show at the same time. Not depressing like sad but depressing because of what the girls are going through.

Claymore... everyone stop dropping Claymore, such an amazing series and on the first thread I noticed that so many dropped it there as well =/

Oops well for some reason I thought this was another similar thread that I also made that got deleted "anime in the above user's "dropped list" that they should reconsider... anyways for your PTW list I'd say Tears to Tiara

Full Metal Panic! it's an interesting kind of mech filled with a side of comedy to it. it's not an amazing series but it's not terrible either. probably the best thing you have on your ptw so i'd suggest watching this first.

Kobato.'s a pretty cute series. The protagonist's genuinely sweet, and it's got some pretty nice romance and good ending. Some of the middle episodes are kind of fillery and skipable, though, and a couple of the major plot threads never get resolved, but otherwise it's a solid show.

Toaru Majutsu no Index, especially since you've already watched Toaru Kagaku. Toaru Kagaku might be more of your cup of tea being the typical four girl genre, but if you liked the universe then you'll like Majutsu.

Long list, but a quick look got my eye on a few, especially: Kaiji and One outs. A bunch of other good ones (but with a PTW of over 500 I've picked 2 of my favorites). And your lucky since Kaiji also has a second season. So that is a little over 75 eps of pure epicness.

A lot actually... but just going to recommend two because I'm Pressed on time.

Revolutionary Girl Utena is a masterpiece, it has some of the best characterization you will see in an anime, potent symbolism, and a magnificent story.

Mushishi-- One of the best episodic shows I've ever seen, endlessly beautiful, with sensibility of humanity and nature.

@Adam_R
Again a lot that is worthy of watching... just recommending two

Planetes-- A sci-fi masterpiece.

Princess Mononoke-- One of the best movies ever made.

I've heard of multiple titles on your PTW but unfortunately, I haven't seen nearly any of them. I would recommend you give a few episodes of Cardcaptor Sakura a try since it's a classic mahou shoujo. Other than that, I've got nothing; sorry.

While it's not one of my personal favorites, Princess Mononoke is generally considered one of the best anime ever made, and so is not to be missed. Also, Strike Witches has some great fanservice and light yuri, if you're into that (and since you also plant to watch Yuru Yuri, I figured you did).

That's fine... Been meaning to watch Cardcapture Sakura soon anyway.

5 Centimeters per Second-- A great anime about lost love and loneliness... not the most uplifting thing I've seen, but powerful nonetheless.

Princess Mononoke-- Quite possibly the best anime movie ever made. Imaginative, powerful, and the most sensible 'industry vs. nature' stories I've come across. A definite must watch.

@Blind_Guardian

Haibane Renmei-- One of the most powerful fantasies I've seen. Dealing with themes such as sin, forgiveness, and the relationships we build with others, I can honestly say I've seen nothing else like it.

The Tatami Galaxy-- A work of pure genius. Brilliantly woven narrative, unforgettable characters, surreal and imaginative imagery, and an uplifting message; what more can you ask for.
