| That was brilliant! I feel for the people that diidn't like it, you were looking for something else and didn't get it... but i loved it! I thought the animation on pain worked really well because he is insane when you think about it and the animation really brought that out in him. Plus if you prefer the manga version...read that again, duh! |

| Maybe one of the worst episodes ever. Half of it was unnecessary and bad filler. Hell, it was even worse than any filler. I mean why did they have to screw up one of the greatest fights in the manga like this?! Even Pain's personality (and all of his expressions) were totally fucked up. They just should have stayed with the normal, quite short fight from the manga. At least the last scene was decent, but I stilll prefer the manga version. |

| i really disliked the art in this episode i swear sometimes it felt like i was watching a naruto parody, but it improved a bit at the last 5 mins or so of the episode, and i guess the eight tail part was pretty good. |

QFT this episode gave alot of life (animation wise) to the pain and naruto, not the standard slide show with characters standing still and camera panning , i also liked the art, thou some alot wont ED is great, knew it was gonna be a sakura only thing because it was said so afew eps back |

| What the hell is with you people? This. Shit. Was. Fucking. EPIC. Probably the best freaking episode of Shippudden so far. I thought the Whack-a-mole part was funny as hell. The art was superb, loved it so much. The fighting was just freaking fantastic, might be on the same level as Naruto vs Sasuke. Yondaime coming in like that was so awesome, especially how the light just revealed his face. Love the new ending too, I like Hinata, but I love Sakura. This ending fits better than the last one. And we might be getting a new OP soon as well. 5/5 loved it. |

Still I dont blame people for hating it, once a show already sets up its format, changing it really seems inappropriate. |

| Why did they change the ending back to Sakura, doing nothing ontop of things? What a waste? Has anybody else noticed that all the good artwork is reserved for Sasuke only since Shippuden bagan? I actually liked this chapter however, it moved at quite a fast pace, and I'm glad we get to see Minato soon. |

| Reminded me of Tengen Toppa Gurenn Lagann LOL. The ending is a lot better than Hinata's tbh. It's a nice calming ending, unlike that annoying previous one. And the animation itself was a nice breather, something fresh for Naruto fans, which isn't necessary bad. |

| To all the nay sayers out there, seriously? This was the best Naruto fight since Naruto vs. Sasuke. The animation was a complete change for the better and it was fantastically done, reminded me of something along the lines of FLCL. They added tons of filler to the fight that made it incredibly epic and atmospheric compared to the manga. Overall this probably ended up my favorite episode of this entire show thus far. It was fantastic. People should be more open minded and learn to have a bit of fun (and also learn the difference between bad animation and different animation). |
| Liked the whack a pain thing and the stupid expressions on their own, but disliked the fighting (and that's usually one of the better things). new ed is because of the 'complaints' from sakura in the last ep :P |

| ^LOL The animation in this episode made it comical. It's hard to take it with some seriousness when Pain looks like horse face. Although it looked weird and out of place, it seemed pretty fluid to me. I didn't care for the filler stuff, just wanted to see Minato come out. |

This does not equate "different" Sure take a still screen of it and they really skewed the characters expressions a lot obviously and it looks pretty ridiculous, but in motion it looks pretty damn beautiful and is chaotic like this fight is made out to be. |
| Those ninjas are something else... epic. I think the animation was so to drive a point that this fight is on another level. The episode was so good that the animation stopped bothering me. I'm going to look for this chapter in the manga and re-read it :) |

| Meh, I just took the horrible animation as an attempt from the studio to create a fight unlike any other. These ninjas are moving at god speed after all, the eyes are bound to distort faces heavily when people are moving at such speed. And Im sorry, but I fell on the floor crying because I was laughing so hard when Kyuubi played Whack-a-Pein. I watched those 5 or so seconds for atleast 5 minutes straight it was so hilarious. Someone needs to make a gif of it. |

| I realy don´t know how to feel about this episode. The drawings and animations made me and my brother burst out laughing out loud. I mean, they were...BAD, or perhaps too good for the show fits better. It was sort of a mix between FLCL and Gurren Lagann, it might sound awesome, but it ain´t. I mean, seriously? When Pain was running on the water the first time, i seriously instantly thougt of the "Jesus Lizard" or The Basilisk Lizard xD |
