I've been looping Watsky's All You Can Do Is album for a week straight now propably, i'm in love... I'm so crazy about this album that i'm gonna order the physical copy overseas! I stopped thinking about this and wondered if people still buy actual physical copies of albums. So... When did you last buy a physical copy of an album, which album and of which artists ? ^^

The last one was The Digging Remedy by Plaid earlier in the month. There are some other ones I wanted to get over the past few weeks, but a sudden financial change in my life has made the purchasing of music a bit of a question mark for me for an undetermined amount of time.

If I can work it out (and I'm really not sure I can), I plan on getting A Moon Shaped Pool by Radiohead, Autodrama by Puro Instinct, Cult of Fake by Angelspit, and maybe The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser by Rob Zombie.

Bought Vinyl copies of The Glow Pt.2 and Mount Eerie by The Microphones and they just came in the mail last weekend. Amazing music for when you just want to curl up in a ball and feel bad.

I'm halfassedly looking for a copy of Emergency & I but I'm not too sure if I'll find it anywhere good for cheap.

Only one I've ever bought was Bob Dylan's "Love and Theft", in 2014. I couldn't find a good download of it at the time. I'd love to have enough money to buy all my albums.

I download almost all my music online. I only buy CDs anymore when it's something I really like a lot; it's more about wanting to have it in physical form, rather than needing the CD to listen to it.

My most recent purchase was Time by the Electric Light Orchestra.

Last psychical album I bought was The riptide vinyl LP sealed. Its out of print but I was able to get it for a little more than I would spend on a normal LP.

Not Beirut's best work, but its still a really good LP, even if it isn't the Gulag Orkestar or flying club cup.

I'm so jealous, I've been looking for a good priced copy of The Glow Pt.2 that's sealed for ages. I'll probably give in soon and spend the 100 or so dollars to get a new one or just try my luck at a cheaper used copy.

well that depends on how you look at it, i recieved Scatha's first album and Guided Cradle's self titeled in the mail today. but i paid for 2 Fatum records yesterday, but wont have those yet for antoher week or so.
(should also recieve Framtid - Horrific Visions, Hellshock - Only The Dead Know The End of War, and Band Of Accure - Memento Mori any day now)

i buy records all the time, i spend about 100 to 200 euro a month on them.
i used to buy cd's too, but dont do that anymore unless the album exist only on cd and i want it really badly

why is that album so expensive? it not even that old or anything, they only pressed small numbers or something??
and why do you want sealed copies so badly? i never really cared at all.

The last album I physically purchased was Round Table (feat. Nino)'s album April.

It's a fantastic album by a more than magnificent group. Although Round Table hasn't released anything featuring Nino in quite some time, they still remain one of my favorite collaborations to this day.

Its over ten years old and its not popular enough for another reprint, so that results in it being so expensive. That's what I would think at least.

I have had bad luck ordering used records, like really bad luck. I've picked up plenty of used records at local places, which is good because I can make sure it's not damaged and works well. I also don't have to worry about shipping which has been an issue for me when ordering used records.

The latest album I bought was The Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) for 99 cents at Goodwill. It was in good condition, too. No scratches on the vinyl or anything.

Was it the shyness in my soul that made me lonely just like you? No one noticed I was there, when I walked into the room.

Never ever bought a physical CD, myself, but I, in accordance to the literal meaning of "bought" went with my sister and bought her a physical CD of Blue. A British boy band, according to Googs. Now this was back in the day~, and I'm sure she'd moved on to Korean pop or W/E. I'll never forget what she brought to the counter when I went in to Sony Store counter to purchase my OG PSP. We discovered the Internet soon after. SOMEHOW???? CD requests dropped after.. Might there be some correlation? Kek.

Infinite respect from me for this.

Unfortunately I've never bought an album, I'm a pirate and I feel bad about it. One day I dream of buying every album I've ever listened to just to support the artists even if I won't be listening to them anymore.
