Hi

I always thought 2000's as a two era

2000s (2000-2009)
2010s (2010-now)

there are so many difference between anime of 2000s and anime of 2010s

art, stoy line, characters, animation ..etc

but a lot of people anime fans consider 2000s as an one era

so do you 2000's is an one era ???

it's just you

2000s = 2000-2009
2010s = 2010-2019

i never had a good reason to believe someone used 2000s to refer to 2010+ anime

unless the context was about pre-2000 and post-2000 series, in which case it makes sense

But I have noticed that anime from 2003-ish up until now are kinda similar when it comes to art, animation & the kind of stories they present.
So considering all that it wouldn't be too far fetched to say that they are the same era..

This.
2000s = 2000-2009
2010s = 2010-2019
I dont think there are a lot of people who use these terms differently.

That's how I delineate them in my head.

Referring to the 2000s as one era usually serves to separate digipaint anime from the cel/film-based works of earlier years, so in that sense, it's accurate.

I don't have a problem typing that, and I generally say "the Zeroes" when speaking about the decade. And most of the time, labels like the 1700s, the 1800s, or the 1900s refer to the ranges of 1700-1799, 1800-1899, and 1900-1999, not 1700-1709, 1800-1809, and 1900-1909.

What to we refer to the years 1800-1809 or 1900-1909 as, then?

Also I said sounds weirds. Not looks weird. :p Try and say in the early 00's anime art style changed drastically. Or something like that.

I only divide it by two: 20th century anime and 21st century anime.
