Where do you think Soma will place in the Elite 10 (in his third year)?

| He won't get first seat, that is for sure. It's not that he can't get it, he probably won't want it. In fact, I think he will leave the Academy without even trying to get the seat. He will be there, he will have powerful influence, but he won't accept it. That's the kind of character he is. |

| I revised my rankings. 1. Erina 2. Hayama 3. Soma 4. Kurokiba 5. Alice 6.... Erina is still top of the food chain. Plus she has a super power. If Soma surpasses her, I would expect Hayama to as well. - Hayama is better than Soma now and he's still improving. - Hayama has a sad backstory and a person he's dedicated to cooking for which pushes him to become the best, while Soma is pretty much a happy-go-lucky chef who is just cooking for the sake of cooking. - Plus Hayama has a super power. He's above Soma in so many ways. The only reason Soma would make it above him in the end is because he's the main character and no other legitimate reason. If you think about it, Hayama's story makes him better suited to being the main character compared to Soma. Also, I still see Kurokiba (who is also still improving) as being better than Soma. But the thing that will put Soma above Kurokiba is his versatility. Kurokiba just sticks to his specialty which is seafood, while Soma can be put up a fight in pretty much any food category. Alice's position is weird. She could win or lose against Hayama, Kurokiba or Soma, and no one wouldnt be all that surprised at whatever the outcome was. She just doesnt have the drive to compete for the top I guess so I cant place her over the other guys. |

I'm not too sure about Hayama being "better" than Souma .Both times when they fought against each other it was Hayama's turf yet Soma was extremely close behind .Souma takes his cooking seriously so even though he's "happy-go-lucky" ,he doesn't mess around .Haya has a superpower yes but Souma has amazing versatility and so depending on the dish he can win . |

| Well, if its in his 3rd year... I think Souma will get the 1st seat. and.. 2nd- Hayama 3rd- Ryou 4th- Erina 5th-Alice Seats 6 through 10... would include 1st and 2nd years... and/or will include Tadokoro, Takumi, Mimasaka, and/or Hisako. |
| Souma will probably be at top 2-5. But I think its better if Souma doesn't join the 10 Elites, if he wants to be the Academy's #1 I think he need to crush the Elites one by one. And I think Erina's not the final boss (probably?). |

| Its starting look like we might never see him get into the elite ten since every opportunity he has gotten has been stopped by some stupid reason such as his current shokugeki with akira at the moment where he did not challenge akira for the seat. |
| Anything is possible, we just don't know whether is there a twist at the end yet. He could get first seat in the future or drop out at second seat just like his father :) but I think the day he gets to the top will be the end finale of the manga. |
