as cold as it might seem, you have to realize she was betrayed by the whole class, ostracized even after the "ignorance" failsafe failed, and had to go through seeing all those murders and being chased around by psychos. on a personal level, I'd never blame somebody for wanting to distance themselves from everything that happened during that period of your life. plus, what if she messed up and the eye was just a fluke? the lynch squad of psycho students would be back in a flash.
