This means that if a chara is only shown "holding" a sword and never using it/using it but just to "cut" and never shown with real skilled attacks can't be counted. Anyone can take a sword and cut something but this doesnt make of him a real swordsman. Example: Trafalgar Law (One Piece) is shown carrying a long sword, but he actual uses it only as "addon" to use his devil's fruit power, and until now he wasn't ever shown using the sword with good attacks. Note: if the claimed character will be a doubtable one, staff will ask you for an addon proof demonstrating that he's actually good and skilled with his sword. He chose to train with the gunblade, which is a difficult weapon to master and takes years of training Final Fantasy Wikia Sword Type: Gunblade How Many: 1 Sword's Name: Revolver Proof: Squall's gunblade of choice is the Revolver, of which he owns a customized version with the Griever symbol imprinted on both sides. Revolver is a sword with a revolver chamber which serves as the hilt for the blade. Despite its name it cannot be used as an actual gun, meaning it does not fire projectiles, and can therefore only be used in melee combat.
