| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Sheesh! At the start of this episode, I was thinking "did the events of the LAST episode even happen? Is Naoki that incapable of changing his attitude?" Anyhoo, so much for the nursing school arc. Now at the hospital, along with the Tomoko, Marina, Keita and Moto-chan miraculously ending up at the same hospital as Kotoko, we have that tyrant head nurse Saori Hosoi (heh), the womanizing Dr. Nishigaki, Reiko Shimizu the senpai nurse (I think, not really sure what the kanji for the given name means), and dear little Akiko, Keita's consolation prize. The highlights of the episode are: *The GO!GO!7188's promotional video "Kataomoi Fighter", playing in the background toward the end of the episode in live action. *The way that onibaba patient enjoyed Naoki's checkup was also hilarious. |

| Awesome episode, I thought. We got a couple of nice Irie moments there. I laughed at the blatant plugging of the (very awesome) Kataomoi fighter video :) Next episode they need to play the PV for the opening, Kimi, Meguru, Boku. Canna's voice as Keita continues to make me very happy, lol :) Kotoko is so cute in her Nurse uniform. And hey, was that Funatsu I saw behind Irie in one scene!? Yay ^^ Too bad they cut his entire storyline with Satomi. The character designs in this episode were soooo much better than last episode! (what a relief ^_^) If anyone is curious about either of the live action versions of this series, here are a couple of fun things to watch- The ending credits for the original mid-90's Japanese live action- this is cool because they took color illustrations from the manga and tried to recreate them with the actors (her ears and short hair kind of ruin it, but Kassy was perfect as Naoki) The Taiwan drama version sticks closer to the manga than either the Japanese drama or the anime. Even down to recreating Kotoko's hairstyles in various scenes (it helps that Ariel's hair is long like Kotoko's). |

| This was a great episode, I loved so many moments from it! It was a cool touch to what was actually playing on the TV. The next episode looks good as well, so I'll be looking forward to that! |

| so good, finally irie did something right. he treated kotoko how she needed to be finally. and now with the boy wonder, lol, the drama is always so great. somehow kotoko, the world's biggest klutz has so many boys/men chasing after her. |

| Another good episode of Itazura na Kiss. It seems like that blondie can be no one other than Non-chan. The episode started off having a lot of elements of recent episodes - Naoki being cold, Kotoko being depressed, but the episode didn't dwell on that too much and started an interesting looking Hospital Arc. |

| I was worried that Irie had forgotten the previous episode, but I'm glad he made the effort :) I was surprised at the pacing of the ep. I thought it was over after the capping ceremony but then the commercial break thing came on and I was like "yay! more episode to watch". They seem to be bounding ahead and leaving big gaps with little physical change. Also, you'd think that after 4 years Kotoko would mature just a little bit... Fingers crossed it is Non-chan, but I have to say OMG if it is. What is with the blonde hair? lol |

| I'm still really enjoying this show, but it's starting to get to the point where I can't take Irie and just how bad of a husband they can make him. I mean honestly, by now I keep thinking the level of him being an ass should of dropped a bit. Oh well, I'm still holding out that he might turn out to be normal. Either way still a fun show and I love seeing a slice of life show with massive time jumps like this. I normally hate time jumps, but it seems like such an interesting novel idea for this show and I'm really enjoying it. |

But honestly, theres a two main things to think about -Non-chans illness, wasn't he like staying at the hospital? That's how bad it was wasn't it? -Considering that how'd he become famous in a span of 4 years(or more because they didn't really tell us what's going on with him) But who knows! But yeah, once you hit about 20, you don't change much for the next 20 years generally - just different hairstyles and clothes. ^.^ |

| I'll be honest, I don't give a crap about Kotoko and Naoki anymore. He's going to say a jerk and she's going to stay tasteless. I don't care if they stay together forever or both die, whatever. But MOTOKI. I was so so so happy to see him get to wear his nurse's gown and cap at the ceremony! Way to go, honey! |

| Don't get me wrong, I like this series. But isn't it a little... unrealistic? First, they get married when they just started college, don't have jobs, and live in his parents' house. Flash forward 4 years... She's a nurse, he's a DOCTOR.... And they're still living in his parents' house??! Not to mention, she still acts so formal around him. He's been calling her Kotoko since high school, and she still refers to him as Irie-kun? The fuck! |
